I've seen a few lobbies saying "Cops 65-85 MPH".
I never knew how to play in that lobby but sounds AWESOME!
Can someone please help me out. I would like to join a lobby one day!
Thanks :)

it means that thats the max speed... but i haven't seen much people following to that rule

I understood that I don't know how to play and I would like to join a lobby to try it. What's the point ?

i think the point is to act 'normal'

I thought it was for if you go over the speed li
It you must catch the person and make him crash. But I guess there's barely a point

Theres role playing like tow trucks and ambulances, dispatch etc in well hosted rooms. Team Hydro hosts these rooms and will not tolerate garabage.

You're supposed to act like normal real life drivers on the road, and if you break the laws of the lobby - i.e Speed Limit or dangerous driving (drifting), then the would be Police/Pace cars would chase you.

Rules vary from room to room:

Speed Limit
Left/Right hand side of road

If you are caught by the police you get three warnings then are asked to change car, or in some cases you're actually kicked...being kicked IMO ruins the fun - but that's how some hosts just are.

It's fun to try and mimic real life while driving spuercars that oridinarily you could never afford.

Lol that's awesome I'm gonna try it

Thanks best description !!

You've got to find a good room though. A lot of them are people just speeding and driving uncontrollably. If you find a good one it's a fun experience to see 5 or 6 cops chasing after a black Lamborghini on the straight at La Sarthe.

sometimes i try it, but in gt5, when you drive 50 km/h , it feels like you're driving 20 km/h

Is there any penaltys if you catch them ? Or if speeding and you pull them over what's a penalty ?

Let it go, Simon. Focus too hard, and your brain will explode. I'm right there with you, but no one is forcing us to participate, so just let it be.

Wow that sounds like a whole lot of fun

Yup, they will tell you what for too, like speeding, reckless driving, excessive display of power etc.

It IS very fun when done right. I host these kind of rooms from time to time and they have "Clean" on the title... I don't tolerate BS and kick the people that doesn't play fair.

Also, I use regulations make it even better. Damage, tire restriction/fuel consumption, PP limit, etc. and full racing cars are not allowed. I recommend Cruise/Cop/Roleplay rooms to try it with restrictions because that scare away the kids on Racing Soft equipped Veyrons. If it works for racing rooms, work for Cruise/Cop rooms too. :)

It's "The Real Driving Simulator" anyway, so why not just drive? And it doesn't mean you can't speed up. Just make sure the cops aren't near. :dopey:

Can you get a DUI?

Yes, you can. DUI/DWI etc.

I host rooms the same way.

It's really rewarding when playing as a cop when you finally use the P.I.T. manuever to spin that guy you're pursueing out.
