Does the game save your enduro save even if you press "cancel" when it tries to load your suspended race?

Thanks,
Nii

No, I don't think so. You have to continue the race to keep the save. :)

Aw, darn. Was looking forward to doing something else =P
Guess I'll just stop the race (since the AI is extremely slow and I'm in a car about 90 PP lower than them).

Here's a trick I found when I did 24hr Le Mans: If you backup your save while it is suspended on an Enduro, you can revert back to it and resume the suspension without casualties.

Cool, how do you back up saves?
(If there's a way to do it without a USB stick, since I only have 15 MB on mine).

A multitasking enabled user interface would be so nice!
For example, while pausing the game in an A-spec race, I could press the triangle button to pop up the multitask menu à la iPhone, choose to go back to main menu, start a B-spec race that I could keep running (provided my B-spec driver does well alone), while doing some maintenance on my cars (oils change, paint some wheels...). And if I still cannot make up my mind on which blue shade to choose for my car, I could jump back to my A-spec course while having a different car waiting in to be customized in my garage...
With a multitask friendly game, I could easily change my setting while getting ready for several events at the same time. Wouldn't it be good to easily switch between Special events and A-spec seasonal events with the car properly set (PP, tires, paint and all) and ready to roll without waiting?
Just a thought...

Cool idea, but this more than likely requires far more processing power than the PS3 can offer. Maybe when the PS4 arrives...?

Yeah, good point... The CPU would probably fry! Can't wait for future versions of GT though, but I'm going way too far from the original topic. ^^;
