In that case then mate, I have no ideas. Unless there is some kind of randomiser.

We have come to figure that all the GT-R's have some type of randomizer in them as to other types of cars no clue but we have tested with other GT-R's and get different outcome every time but have also found out that if u try to change that same car by different applications you will however change the car completly

This is categorically not the case. The only two was to get different results from tuning a car in GT5 (or any other GT game ever) is to start with different cars or tune them differently. Tune the same car the same way and the result is the same.
Do not ignore the staff again.

That's what we're thinking. May sound strange, but since Husky said that GT-Rs are hand-built, that could play some part in it.

Just out of curiosity post the exact car and the list of what you did in order if it's not too much trouble.
Would be interesting to see what others come up with.

It's the Nissan SKYLINE GT-R V-Spec (R33) '97 - Did an oil change first, then added the Stage 3 turbo, Customizable transmission, Stage 1-3 engine, ECU chip, Stage 1-3 weight reduction, Windows, carbon hood, sports intake manifold, racing air filter, sports exhaust manifold, sports catalytic converter, titanium racing exhaust, twin plate clutch, semi-racing flywheel, adjustable LSD, torque differential, carbon drive shaft, fully customizable suspension, racing soft tires.

In that order..

EDIT: Forgot about adding the aeros after the oil change, and before the stage 3 turbo.

Either the original cars are different or the tuning is different. There isn't a (3).

No, it is not okay, especially after being told twice by another member of staff.

Do you see an exclusion for "being in a hurry" in the AUP you agreed to? No, because it isn't there. Take time and care over your posts - if you're making an effort to communicate, don't do it in a half-arsed way that doesn't do the job of communicating. Almost everyone else does, the exceptions appearing in the Banned User Log.

Then how can you account for two exact same cars built the exact same way and come out two completly different ways

Yeah, I think someone has already said this.

It's night be because all the parts for the GT-R are hand made, I can't speak for the earlier Skylines but I know that the GT-R's parts are.

As I have already said though, this has been said before.

I would believe Famine on this one. He know's enough about GT to write a book on it..........

There has been no tuning at all to either cars all we have done is put the parts on stated in the very first post that is what we were trying to come up with answer for so there is no need to send the cars to you to figure out

Sending me the cars would solve which of the two options it is - different cars or different tuning. I can tell you which it is.

If you have no desire to figure it out and keep believing something that doesn't exist in the game, that's your call, but that rather ruins the purpose of this thread.

Only thing I can think of is one of you may have accidentally told it no after buying a upgrade when it asked if you wanted to install the part.
Go into the settings sheet and see if it's all fitted on both cars.
 
Well, this is gotten a little out of control.

No, we both have everything installed on the car. We bought a set yesterday, and a set today. The number on the top of the gear graph has been different both times.

Yesterday's set:
Mine - 177mph Drift's - 185mph
Today's set:
Mine - 196mph Drift's - 192mph

It's just confusing to me.

EDIT: I'm gonna test this out myself. I'm gonna buy two Viper ACRs and add the parts in two different orders and see what I come up with.

Ok ... I did it with the 2 GT-Rs you had listed. I did get a bit of a oddity.
While not having touched the gear ratios on either one. One had a different gear setup.
One was at default I clicked return to default and nothing happened. The other one was a whole different set of numbers. When I clicked return to default on that one it switched to the other cars same default gear ratio set.

Took pics of both gear ratio set numbers if anyone is interested.

THAT's what I was getting at. I knew I could get it back to default. I was wondering why did we get two sets of numbers?
 
Sorry if I was misunderstanding a bit. I thought with all the hand built GT-R talk that it was a problem that wasn't fixable.
That it was a constant issue with the performance and numbers.
 
might just be a simple minor glitch where the stats and performance are out of sync.

Oh, no. That wasn't the case. We just wondered why we got two different number right off top. That was something I haven't seen before. I'm about to try out the Viper ACR to see if the same thing happens.

It's probably my fault that I didn't make that part clearer.

It wasn't a problem, more of a quirk.

See all R35 GTR'S had a base hp of lets say 450 HP, whilst some may be 500HP they would not fall below the base of 450HP.

I know the numbers are not right, but you get the gist.

However - Learning that the order you install parts in is important in any way? that's genuinely shocking.. I didn't expect PD to go that far.

GT-R engines and transmissions are all assembled by one individual but it doesn't mean they use some random collection of parts. All the parts on all the motors are the same so all the motors should be identical. Differences in HP by hand assembly are probably more marketing myth than anything...

Not trying to argue or anything, so that would mean on the 2014 GT-R, the person's name that's attached to the engine is more of a marketing ploy to get people to buy "one-of-a-kind" GT-Rs?

Some are more drastic than others as far as I can make out but it's definitely there.

All motors, whether hand assembled or otherwise, will measure differently coming off the assembly line. Dyno's are not 100% accurate to begin with.

All motors, whether hand assembled or otherwise, will measure differently coming off the assembly line. Dyno's are not 100% accurate to begin with.

To the best of my knowledge - GTRs have been measured upwards of 20 BHP from their designed power output, in both directions.

I would imagine that kind of power difference is outside of a Dynos margin of error, but despite popular belief* I don't know everything

*It is not believed by anybody that I know everything, much less the popular belief. This is just a tragic attempt to be humorous because I have intense wisdom tooth ache and it takes my mind of it

As I said, all engines coming off any assembly line, whether put together by chimps or highly skilled craftsmen, will measure differently on the dyno, partly due to dyno variance and partly due to the fact that that is just the way it is when assembling motors. It has nothing to do with how the engines are built.
