The torque and power curves change when you move the engine power slider in quick tune

But I noticed the engine sound changes too. I thought my ears were deceiving me

anyone hear the same?

Ive played this game to death and I never noticed the sound of the cars changing... which seems pretty logical since youre not buying any parts for it... But I'd love to be proved wrong in this case... can you get any visual/audible evidence? :D

lol

It would make sense if the quicktune slider was simply a graphical representation of actual parts being added. It's obviously not realistic to just move a slider and the car magically gains power, so why can't GT5P simply have a slider to represent power parts being added without the part being visually there?
Or Cool is just hearing things again.

Well, depending on the car/engine, chip tuning would allow you to gain (or lose) a lot of power without adding parts. And IRL, different timing settings for the ECU may result in the engine sound changing. But I doubt PD went this far in modeling it. ;)

Hmmm... can't say Iv'e ever noticed any sound changes when increasing/decreasing power.:odd:
Perhaps you changed the volume slightly between tuning...
Increasing the volume with a high quality set of Earphones can drastically change your GT experience for the better.;)
