Testing it now, but if it produces good enough racing Monaco (With 6 did not qualified) would replace Brands Hatch, if that sways anyone who voted opinion @CSMDuty11 @tbwhhs @Pezzarinho17

Now, this either means that 6 racers didn't manage to qualify, or the Number 6 racer didn't qualify, and considering that there isn't a Number 6 car in the fantasy series... :lol:
Pointing out mistakes aside, if about half the field gets wiped out on Hatch via pit-wall-magnets, then about half the field could potentially be wiped out on Monaco attempting to not spin out and/or crash on turns, even if it would be by 1% higher than it would be with any other turn-filled track, so i'm alright with Monaco.
Definitely would make for more scenic photos, atleast.

This Monaco test only has two retirees through 6 laps
 
Another alternative to Brand's Hatch I'm testing now is AVUS
 
I'll be a deviant and stick with original vote, it was still my home circuit! :D
 
Alright, new plan because I just discovered the track we're using, this will be the longest non endurance race ever, but it will be an entertaining ********. No hints on what it is either.

Putting it into perspective though, if I don't turn off damage, everyone pits on the first lap due to it.

The final round of the season (At Lime Rock) instead of qualifying, the points order will determine the order that the field will start. However, it will be randomised whether it is in ascending or descending order (So the points leader will either start in 1st or last)

Running Bermuda Triangle now, great racing, and if this race ends up getting used, then holy **** someone won in a way unseen by this series before this

I have to ask, when I post a video, out of the ~5 or so that like the post, how many of you make it through the full race? I'll tag everyone whose liked a race post on this page to check. @optiongamers @Niku Driver HC @FrzGT @CSMDuty11 @Smurfybug (Not tagging @tbwhhs since he's sort of forced to watch the whole races in order to produce the video :lol:)

I ask, because next season will feature races edited down to half hour to hour long videos, and I wonder if that will increase viewership of the whole race.
 
I usually never watch videos an hour long or longer. I do watch them, but busy little me lacks the patience to actually sit through an entire video either one-hour long or longer. Either once or never have I seen a video one-hour long (as in actually 1:00:00.000 or longer in length) video on YouTube. Maybe once or twice I seen a Vimeo video that was an actual hour long. It's more a patience thing to me. And without discussing anything questionable, I usually don't have too much patience to watch some videos one hour or longer.

With all due honesty? I can't quite bring myself to watch the entire thing if it's over an hour. I try, but eventually other videos appear in my YT feed, and then my music - listening ways settle in...

The main issue with 1-hour-long races is that if the A.I. isn't up to snuff, the race gets chock full of dead moments where the gaps between drivers are too big for exciting close-quarters racing. Then you have to factor in safety car laps (if crashes happen) and things of the sort. Of course, these are my five cents, I dunno what the others' stance is on all this...

Kinda varies, sometimes i've watched them in two-times the normal speed, sometimes i just skip ahead little by little with the right arrow,
 
In all honesty it varies. Most are playing on first 2 minutes, middle 2, and last 2 minutes.

Though with livery on, I watch it more frequent. But I cant watch on entirety as my life stuff still going on.
 
I skip through :p If I'm bored then I might watch the full thing. :lol:
 
I think it's better if you edit the videos to be shorter as you can cut out some dull moments and if your only featuring moments with good racing then more people are likely going to watch the video.
 
Ultimately, you are in in charge of the videos. You decide how to pace and promote your video. You certainly establish your own character with these videos. The GTR2 video I did, for example, was mostly inspired by cues from GTP Fantasy Series and the different GTR2 videos (such as the RACE Porsche Cup and the RACE GT series). I may even have some insight from the much longer VRR IndyCar Series videos as well.

So it's up to you to determine how you want to do the videos.

I know that people skip parts, that's why next season the videos won't be full races, instead skipping parts that do not have action/relevant action if enough action happens in race. Unfortunately I do not have the capability to do commentary and do what I plan to do next season, unless someone volunteers their time to commentate the races after @tbwhhs records them and is willing to upload the videos to YouTube.
