every1 im so sorry i had such a bad showing

i lost a podium spot in the points, i feel so bad

let you guys down :(

nah. you didn't man. 👍
just like everyone else, you worked hard at it, did your best, and just got caught short in the end. You just didn't have the luck this time.
Besides you were up against the toughest guys in the world, in the toughest race, in your first major comp. You did just fine h0t!!

I know you expected more, but I think all of us expected more from our races. We'll get 'em next time. Now that we all have some experience with the whole thing, it will help!

Proud to be your teammate h0t just as I'm proud to be a part of Team GTP!! 👍

Well said MS, i second that!

Hear hear, as they say in blighty.

:irked:👍

Well done everyone.

Well done everyone indeed 👍

I have only 1 regret, and that is that we didnt work as a team enough, a few players were only in this comp for their personal result and didnt help any others enough. this is excused as for many of us its our 1st BC but if the same faces return for the next one, lets try to have much more team work.

every point counts, as you can see its not just your own finishs that helps the team, there are 10 races, not just 1. you can be sure GTWeb and especially GTIRN helped each other lots. I doubt they did much other than the BC for the whole time, helping their fellow team mates.

Next time, we will win for sure! :p

Id be happy to see anyone one of you guys return for BC6 👍

I'm gonna have to agree with you on some of this, but being the first BC for many of us i dont think we realized just how much it would take (Me included). If i'm around for the next one i'll definitely have to devote more than i did this time. Got a little lazy after i made a ton of progress in the first couple days 👎

That being said, it definitely was a great experience and it was exciting up until the very end. It was an honor to be on a team with you guys and i hope i'll be seeing you guys in the next bc6.

And curtis, you definitely didn't let us down. You had the hardest race with the hardest competition. It was a 10 round team race and it wasn't fair to have it all come down to you for the win. That was a really exiting way to end bc5 though :).

We'll get em next year guys!

And well said to you also SF. 👍 Valid and true all. You will notice that Team GTWeb won the BC. Not Team Momo.

I believe that given another year competing with each other, we will know each other better, and will work together closer. I for one, don't know a lot of you guys that well 'cause I'm new and till recently just didn't spend that much time OL. I sincerely hope that changes in the coming year. 👍

But of course I have a few thoughts. :sly:

What we really need is some setup experience. We all do an awful lot of arcade racing which is fun and such, but let's face it, some of our drivers got beat, or had a lower finish than their skill level because of setup deficiencies. This is something we HAVE to work on to be more successful next time out......IMHO of course.

The other thing we need to do better, again IMO, is recruit more of, and actually use test drivers. Honestly we could have used 2 or 3 working out strategy and tires, etc. for h0tb0i's race, and 2 or 3 on every other race that required a setup. The test racers don't need to be as fast, just need to have some savvy and setup skills. Work out the best AI, pit strategies, best setup with compound staggered tires, etc. In other words take some of the load off the driver......to ACTUALLY drive!

There is a wealth of diverse skills and talents within the WRS and the GTP at large itself. You all know this just by looking at the jumbled leaderboard each week. So just because a guy is div 2 or 3 doesn't mean they don't have anything to offer! I think it should be a goal to start including some of the WRS regulars sooner, and get them excited about contributing to the BC as supporting team mates if they don't make it as drivers. I feel strongly that this is something that we as team members need to do for next years team. We can't expect CFM to do everything for us. Yes he is captain and a damn fine one, 👍 but he's only one guy with a big load around here. If we want to win BC6 next year, we need to commit to it right now, lay the groundwork ourselves, and start planning for success. 👍

I don't know a whole lot about the OLR world, but I do know a thing or two about competition and organizing successful team structures. Believe me, winning teams do not take place in a vacuum.

Well thanks anyway for reading. I'm a bit of a gasbag I know, but that's just me. :D
