Can one of you guys tell me what holl01's time is so I can turn it in? A PAL replay with no disclosure of what the time is does not help me at all...:grumpy:

5'38.8xx, still lost 0.3 in the ending! Gaaaaaaay i was in nerve and took the first hander wrong, i mean the first hander of the ending part, but the last corner was very good at all! Without this 0.3 lost, i could had done 5'38.4 or .5. But, anyway im not REALLY satisfied with this time, since i just want one 5'37.9 to asure a win or 2nd place, but even tho, i will try to go further. There´s much to improve yet, altough my lap was a total fluke.

Well, awesome work dion, i knew you would get that time, im glad of you.

Just go for that almost impossible 1'01.2 or .3 mate, i know you can get it. ;)

christ! those times look unrealistic, i give up for now, dont like the combo, will be happy if i get a top 3 finish regardless 👍
 
If we dont hear from Dan before 0700GMT tommorow then submit his 1'36.8xx

Who ever submits please please say so, if it comes down to it i can submit also.

Dan is running it until that time.

Hehe thank you, but altough this lap was very good, its mere **** for me, i want one 5'37.9 anyways man, i guess that with this time i can take one P1. I don´t believe someone is in 5'36 or low 37, and even if he is at 37. :sly:

Sorry mate ... I was asked not to divulge any information .... giving the name would circulate the racers lap and it would inevitabley come back to me :indiff:
I think I went too far giving what I have! .... but I wanted you to at least try and match them, just shows I cant be trusted when sworn to secrecy :guilty:

But it blew up in my face .... as far as i know you are probably the fastest so far! I was just trying to push you into the 5.37 you mentioned earlier in this thread :indiff:

Seemed like a good idea at the time :dunce: sorry mate I thought it would get you into your target by making you think you were behind! I was trying to help ... not that you need it :sly:
 
But you know Veil that if you are facing off against Tannis, there is very little margin for error. If you get the 5'37, I'm sure Tannis will be very close as always.

I have heard about the great amount of work you have put into your race. If you are destined to win you will. Simple. You have clearly put in the effort. :)
Mr P is just trying to spur us along as a team to greater heights! That is his duty as co-captain. Please don't be offended mate. 👍

Altough tannis said me he has got 5'37, but i dunno, im seeing the competition will be tough, i got the Braziliam GP in the way so i will not have time during this weekend until the race in the sunday, but after it, i have 3 days, and i will remain 24 hour nonstop playing this **** to get the low 37 time i so want. I can´t just acept a 2nd place and even from tannis! i will do it!! 👍

Hotboi, i hope your driving your heart out mate, this is the most important race youve done so far, and will be remembered the most. A good result here will get you so much respect.

my problem at the moment, is just pushing too hard~
keep getting the slightest rubs against the armco from simply pushing too hard

Thanks to everyone so far for putting a great effort into thier races, it shows in the results. With the four remaining drivers I can see a possible podium finish for each of you which will surely get us into 4th place, which would make me very happy. Who knows, with some really outstanding finishes a 3rd overall is not out of reach, which would be a best ever finish from GTP. In each board challenge GTP has placed better every year. Last year we got 4th out of 10 teams, so 4th out of 13th would be an improvement, but 3rd would be awesome considering the great drivers we've been competing against. Hopefully you will all reach your goals and not take the competiton for granted. Good luck you guys.👍

just trying to get the right AI combo, and it never came

so now im not even in the mood to bother playing today... 1 week to go, no clean time :crazy:

You got that right Dion, it's starting to bunch up now at the top..who knows what is going to happen next.:dopey: Too bad the guy that beat you was from GTN for round 7, or else we'd be in a tie for 4th now. Just bad luck there, but it took 3 guys teamed up to beat you lil chippers, great job.:sly: I'm looking forward to the resuts for Shunt and Veil coming up, and then hopefully hotboi will get that great run down to put us over the top. 👍 Go team GTP:)

Well, here we are with race number 8 in the chute and ready to snap.
Toffe and I are still hard at work on it. I still see time to get, and am not willing to throw in the towel yet. Toffe said that he will give it another good go tomorrow also. 👍 (We are both praying for a miracle race. lol)

So far the 2'40.941 I got is the time we have.

Will post progress later Sunday. May be very late. Don't know.


@h0t.......You don't have to be 100% clean you know right? For a ten lapper, you are allowed 2 minor touches (less than 5 mph speed change), or offs without time penalty. For the race I'm doing, I get one freebie if needed.

Yep true that 👍

I heard off Arwin that Kart has 2 touches in his save, which is right on the legal limit for the combos rules ... but as expected it is rumoured to be extremely fast! and the thoughts are that no one out there can beat him in this race ... he is the odds on favourite!

I think someone needs to put a stop to Karts BC winning ways ;)

Well guys, I think I just pulled the proverbial rabbit out of my ass.
I just pulled off a race that has the very best individual laps I have ever done in this combo. It is .64 better than my previous best. I believe it is very good indeed. 👍 Very much BC worthy.

2'40.300

I have posted the replay in the final times thread, and sent a pm to Todd asking him to check it out. I have a non-penalty off on lap one, but the rest looks good. If anyone else with NTSC can check it out, I would be most grateful. :bowdown:

Toffe has sent me a pm saying that he will not be able to match my time, so this is the one to submit. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for Toffe partnering up with me on this race. :)

I am truly drained. This was just SO MUCH PRESSURE for an old fart like me. :crazy:

(But I'd do it again in a minute. hehehe.)
 
From what ive heard around the paddock that time is very competitive. People were saying the winning time would be high 39's and you have a low 40.

Ok guys. Here's what I have done. I have submitted my time, but not the time you all think I did. This off-track crap has been weighing on my mind all night. The rules seem to conflict regarding offs for my race. I don't like it one bit, but I would also rather come in last than submit a race that I am not 100% confident in. On my fast race, I have a clear off. No question. The BC rules allow for one non-penalty incident for races less than 5 laps. But in the requirements for my race it states clearly that offs, AI and wall touches are not allowed. I don't know why I didn't see that earlier......just never thought that my fast race would have an off. Hence the confusion and doubt in my mind.

So I have submitted 2 times to Duke via email and pm with an explanation.

I have asked for my slower time of 2'40.630 to be considered my official entry. I then submitted as an alternate race time the faster but dirty 2'40.300. I have asked for review of this race by the admins for legality, and if it is determined legal, to have it submitted as my time.

Small Fryz and I had a discussion on this, and I really appreciate the vote of confidence for the faster race Dion, but I just couldn't do it. WRS rules are just too engrained in me I guess. I don't want to embarrass myself or the team with a race that gets kicked.

I feel awful about this situation guys. I know that I was a marginal pick for the team, and feel I have let you all down. I really worked very hard on this race. Untold hours........I know the .630 will be mid-pack at best. I expected a lot more out of myself. I just hope that the admins view the faster one as legal is my only hope.

I'll get the replays up later today. Right now I'm gonna have a stiff drink. What a crappy day.

Dont worry mate your .630 is still very fast and you havnt let us down 1 bit!!.
