I'm sure ya'll all remember the Race Modification option you got in the past Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo 2. But Since GT3's non existant race mod option. It kind gave us a lack of interest in GT3. But we all quickly rose after that factor.
Now, this is GT4. It suppose to reign as the best racing game ever to be to this date. I know we are all wondering about body kits. But what about the Race Modification option? Is it welcomed back? Lets discuss about this topic.

Yes. PD should bring back the Race Modification option again. I loved putting a race mod on my '69 Camaro and on my '67 Vette.

Of course , race modification is always welcome. It would be great if PD would put it in.
We can just hope and see ;) PD , lets bring the race modifications back!

(Try not mention NFS:U)

Yeah. It is. But what are your thoughts if it not being in?

if not it should of been PD's top priority other than adding more cars and tracks

Cause that might be solution i'm beginning to think. I know the Nurburgring will take up alot of room and it might get rid of our chances of seeing the Race Mod's.

Technically, a race moded car is a new car, and I'd rather have 2 R34 skyline road cars each with a race mod than have 4 road versions with no race mod's.

I thought the race mods were neat, and I loved my dodge stratus with the race mod....  But hopefully, if they do return, they will be a little more customizable than previously.

If it not being in it would miss a part of the game.

Don't transfer this whole thing from one thread to another.

Maybe some newbie mentions something about NFS:U (bodykits etc.) it would be pointless beacuse this thread is about race modifications!

No one has mentioned it in anything. i.e. PSM, or G4TechTV. Maybe it's one of the many features PD is hiding.

It'd be a pity if the race mods were left out for most of the cars, it was a nice finishing touch for highly tuned cars. Good for showing a visual difference between a bog ordinary car & a tuned race ready version.

It would defintly bring up the level of realism in gt4. As long as there is always positive fead back about the mods, there is a very big chance of it coming back in gt4.

Yes, the racing mods are definitely back. This according to Kaz in an interview I read. But, there will not be many, and it will be limited to only proven and popular cars that were both street cars, and race cars. This news is very old.

I'll probably be flamed for that :scared: , but anyway, I will not cry if racing mods are left out of GT4. Seriously, I might be the only one thinking like this but when I want a race paited skyline, I go get a JGTC one, that's it  . Same for any other car. And in GT2, I think the paint schemes were in majority very ugly.

See Ya :sly:

I wouldn't object to the Racing mod mode if I still had a choice on colour, style and sponsers. Also I would prefer if I could either keep the car the way I have worked it up to be and have it duplicated as a Race car as well or I was able to keep the look, colour and style, but with the race breed insides. If ya know what I mean.

I would hate to loose all the work I had put into the car to make it personal.

Ignor this.

They did say that everything from previous GT games was making a return, maybe this means the race mods.

That don't mean everything. And KY said all the cars. Not everything that was in GT1 and GT2.
