What AI Aggressiveness was this run at? I typically for my series go 101, unless it's too much of a wreckfest in which case I will turn it down
Ninety-Something. I belive 93

May have been too high for the grip + slipcurve this track had. The cars were sometimes outrunning the grip they feasibly had.
That is true, but it could have been worse, remember this has the most finishers than any previous Glen Races iirc.

Kuni after crashing into Jordan:

Also, wow. I was really lucky to survive the carnage. We almost had a #racecarstrong moment there, too.

I'm just going based on the eye test, although for future road courses can I recommend setting the dlat_pad value in the ini to around -1.00 (Make this value closer to 0 if there is too much crashing), it causes more variance in braking zones between drivers, allows for more typical road course passing

6th Place, surely surprised me and watching the highlights I wasn't even noticed much doing so, like a ninja :D

My crew chief really tore off my ear during the race, when @KuniKino****a was near us he freaked out due to the crashes caused. I just wanted him to shut up when I passed.

The ending of the race was enjoyable, a battle for 6th with @DCybertron it was very clean between us and we finished within 1 tenth away from each other, he is such a fantastic driver that forced me to push hard.

As for the Bus Stop, I have had no problems with it, granted I was at the front the entire time so I couldn't have been ripped to shreds by other cars but the oil drop complaints I think are absurd, I think the drivers behind the leaders were just overly aggressive and they payed the price.

Daytona was a great race. I was a viable contender for the win, and a top 5 was more than I expected entering the day. Watkins Glen was way more disappointing. A lot of issues with the race for us. Honestly the worse clean up work done in the bus stop. It was worse after the first mass spin than it was leading it up to it. Banged up our race car and many others. Just a lot of crap. Congrats to Nas and amaterasu. We'll join then soon.

I'm going to have a lot of things to catch up on when I return from vacation as utilising Wifi spots in Toronto isn't going to cut the mustard.

Already started on it. You want to see the book? :D

That said, I may be a couple days behind videos due to data, laptop, and internet quality conspiring to bite me...kinda like right now.
Oh yes please.

And that's fine lol

What the hell was that at Watkins Glen? Was there a full moon in upstate New York? This one was nuts! I know this is just a game and this is all not real, but this is the most attrition I can recall at Watkins Glen than that race in the former Rolex Sportscar Series where 12 or so cars wrecked in the final corner, one after another. Then too, I do remember a (then) NASCAR Nationwide race (or Cup?) that had multiple cars wreck on the final corner. Insanity served on a hot skillet and piping hot to describe this I Heart NY 125.

"Well, this was certainly not how I was expecting to start the season. I'm fine, just really bummed at how we didn't qualify well at a track I love, had that incident at the beginning of the race and then it goes all down at the pit wall. Not really sure what that was about, all I know is that's now two races we've had to take home the car in pieces. Sadly, the same appears to be for Clayton Hardy as well. Hopefully, we can both recover and finish will at the next race with our teammates. Also, big congrats to amatarasu and the 84 team. While none of us at TTC were able to fight for the win, their success today has again proven that our equipment is capable of winning."

Looking at the calendar, why is 1 event sponsored by Taylor Swift?

I don't wanna know the answer to Resh's question but at the same time I do. This reminds me of last season and the preparation for what's now this season, and the possibly overboard, unhealthy obsession with Kate Upton. I really don't wanna know where this is going. But then there's the curiosity and I'm apparently a cat, because that curiosity is killing me.

Oh and personally if we're gonna obsess over someone who's hot as 🤬 it should be Ariana Grande. Come on people we all know she's on a whole other level. Wait did I actually just say this? Whoops. :O

Finally, another Ariana Grande lover

please tell me no one has made a logo for that race yet cause I wanna make it.
I'm serious about this now.
I found a font of Taylor's handwriting (the internet is creepy..) and I just need to know how long the race is.

The owner of the racetrack (Mystical) has made it no secret that his favorite artist is Taylor Swift. Just a little nod towards him.

Length has yet to be decided but you are more than welcome to make the logo.

"17th isn't quite what we were hoping for, but for our first race this season, I'm fairly happy with it. We kept the car completely clean throughout the whole race, and brought it back to the shop with no damage at all, so that's also another plus. I'd say we have a fairly decent team for this year, and as long as bad luck stays away from us, we'll be up there at the end of the season.

About the race, well, I can't really say much. We kept our nose clean, and led laps, so that's definitely a good sign. I wasn't really focused on leading at all, so to have that happen is really great. Following the last caution, however, things went to crap, really. Our teammate, @samurai8juice, who was laps down, held us up really badly. Bad move on his part, and I'm slightly frustrated, but hey, there's nothing you can do about it."

RACEtv: "Down here on pit lane with GTRacer22 following the brutal race here at Watkins Glen. Tell me, how did you manage to survive all, well, most of the carnage?"

GTRacer22: "Well, first of all, we got really lucky with that first major crash in the bus stop. Because we had to pit to pull out the left front fender after making contact with the #32, we were way off the tail end of the field. So, we were able to just gain a few spots and it put us in a much better position."

RACEtv: "About that incident with the #32 - What exactly happened?"

GTRacer22: "I really don't know, to be quite honest. It looked like he just lost it, and decided to re-enter traffic like a total moron. Dumb move on his part. Thankfully the damage received was not too bad."

RACEtv: "What are your take on all of the incidents caused by Kino****a today?"

GTRacer22: "Stupidity at its finest. You can't go into every darned corner like there's no one ahead of you and proceed to ram every damn car out of your way. It's not how racing works."

RACEtv: "Thoughts going into Auto Club next weekend?"

GTRacer22: "I mean, we were quick in pre-season testing there, before that massive accident occurred. I think we'll have a good shot at the win, as long as we have luck on our side."

RACEtv: "Thanks for your time, GT."

GTRacer22: "My pleasure."

@BKGlover outstanding job on your speadsheet! :) Just be sure you update your schedule to match the current one for the season.

Looks like we found our new Calamity Corner for this year!

For those new to the series, the OG Calamity Corner was the 7th corner at Sebring, as many cars decided to spin off during last season's race there. It seems now that Watkins's own chicane didn't want to fall behind in terms of madness and took quite a few cars out to prove itself as a Calamity Corner.

And I'm not gonna lie, seeing Doodle spin into the camera shot scared the bejaysus outta me. He just spun into another car outta nowhere (like a RKO), how was I supposed to react?

Also, this Chevrolet dominance sounds a bit too biased to me... Especially that #10, I smell some GTPEDIA bribing going on backstage, check that garage ASAP. :p
