Ahmed will be attending the race but will be paying tribute to the people in Aleppo going through their crisis that is going on as we speak. He says that he will be putting #AleppoIsBurning on the rear of his vehicle on one of his schemes. More info to follow up soon.

Wasn't really doing anything. Japan's LGBT agenda as well as treatment towards women is just as bad.
It was my understanding that the general view was a bit neutral rather than negative.

It's definitely not neutral. I haven't had terrible treatment, but there's a lot of people who have been treated subpar. You would have been replacing one bad place with a place of nearly equal vile as @SVX previously stated.

Good to know. Will keep that in mind.

Granted, Japan is still more ahead in some places than the U.S. Equal opportunity hirings for jobs are a lot more even and less forced than over there. At least where I am, the wage gap between men and women is marginal, but that is something I don't have national data to compare to. For this case involving LGBT rights, Japan wouldn't have been any better of a choice than China or Russia. You may have been better off just giving Canada another race. Now, if you were protesting something more like the wage gap or something, then you would have been okay.

"Notice me, Gordon-sama!"

I have a question which has been bothering me for a while. Logistically, wouldn't it have been easier to just go to a place like Rockingham or Richmond instead of hoping to a different country for a week?

Well I recently have gotten earshot that protest to the Old Spice raceway has been lifted, so it would likely go there.

And as for LGBT issues, I have read that efforts were at least being made in some prefectures; and that even though things were not much better, at least they were moving in the right direction. Could have been overoptimistic though.

I can't speak of every prefecture, but overoptimism seems correct because the ground they've gained is all minimal and Japan, if you haven't noticed, isn't great with the cultural change.

With a lot of call for more diversity last season, efforts were made to meet that request. Granted Charlotte is not really that, but still; I see your point.

Fair enough lol, but they arent moving in reverse, which was part of what made me go "better than NC". But it likely won't take place of Charlotte for more reasons than that, actual in game issues.

EDIT- Sorry for the double post.

Though there are improvements in the LGBT sector - minimal, but subtle improvements - the female rights over there still definitely have a ways to go yet.

Yeah. I was just confused because you were mad at North Carolina, and Rockingham is still North Carolina so my bad there. But there's still places like Martinsville, Bristol, Memphis, Nashville, Nazareth, Dover, Mansfield, Toledo, LOR, NJMP, and New Hampshire all within a screenshot of Charlotte, speaking of logistics.

This is very true. You might as well say prostitution is still legal with how much money is made from it every year. Not the greatest quality of the Rising Sun by any means.

Well with Charlotte so far ahead, a relocation would not be a problem logistically. Nazareth no longer exists, and i don't think Mansfield does either. But I get what you are saying.

After reading every post since my last one, I'm fairly certain y'all shut down all but one reason I'd pull the 79, and the fact that one reason doesn't really have to do with the subject of the law really is making this uncomfortable for me.

I am an idiot, and I don't know what to do.

Nazareth does exist. It came up in a conversation I had with someone not too long ago, I think with either @Angel or @amaterasu
Last I knew it was abandoned and covered in mounds of dirt.

Speaking of dirt, opinions on the dirt on the templates from the Eldora picture?

It does have dirt mounts on it in real life, but that doesn't mean much in the world of roleplay.

It doesn't mean much in real life either if you have a monster truck or a baja vehicle. Creativity, I know you have. Use it more.

I don't think anyone would think less of you for not pulling the car. I'm kind of like amaterasu. If I am in the chase, I need the points, if not, 80 car likely would not be there.

Prostitution is an endorsed career here. :dunce:
