I don't trust them. I don't believe it'll be a complete repeal.
According to what I've seen, the session they'll be having will be to vote to repeal the entire law.

Do we really need to get political about this? I mean in a fictional world, what we do doesn't affect what happens in the real world.

Nas is the boss. He can do what he wants with this series. If he wants to mirror current events, then let him be.

I just don't understand the necessity of doing so, there's really nothing to gain.

I get where @RESHIRAM5 is coming from. This is an entertainment venture first and foremost. But I can understand nas' stance because he has close friends that would be affected by stuff like this. I don't get what it would do overall, but I understand the reasoning behind it.

@RESHIRAM5 because I want to. Unless that isn't allowed?
In other news - We caught some recreational testing at Eldora today!

Yes I edited the templates individually. I may end up doing it for the race, because it looks really nice lol

@RESHIRAM5 because I want to. You don't have to participate in the series if you don't want to.
That escalated quickly. I never said I didn't want to participate

It's not so major that it makes me not like the series but it just seems rather mind boggling.

I stated before that the series follows most real events aside from weather. I do not stand for the things going on in NC, and with many real life sports dropping events there, of course I would drop the race as long as they follow that view. It isn't like there are plenty of other (arguably better) tracks to use.

I know but going on into something Political, IMO is a little too far and unneeded for something that's meant to be entertainment, especially since real life sports events do it because it has actual impact when they cancel.

It is your series and you likely won't change your mind on this.

I do agree there are better tracks than Charlotte though,

Its not like its going to make an impact, but its just my way of saying im on the side of the Transgender people. Discrimination of any kind is ridiculous, and I want to make it perfectly clear where I stand on the matter. Not to pull the "My Series, My Call" card, but Id almost guarantee that if we put it to a vote, we wouldn't be going there.

And the ban is lifted if the bill is repealed, so I'm not sure why it's only now an issue for you.

Are you sure? Id at least wait and see where you stand in points.

I'm positive. The 67 team will not stand for the hatred that has been forced on the innocent people of North Carolina and especially the queer population. We encourage other teams to join us in not participating in this event

10-4. Would the plan be to not have RedDragon race, or the entire 67 team not show up?

The entire 67 team will not be attending the track. We will be donating our time and energies instead to the Human Rights Commission, the National Center for Transgender Equality and other pro equal rights groups around North Carolina. We hope that our tireless work and that of other volunteers will help stem the tide of hatred and fear

Understood.

If enough teams would pull out, the race would be replaced. All this pending on if HB2 is eliminated, of course.

Just feels a little awkward that this is because of something political.

As for the movement to pull out of Charlotte, The 05 team are going to decline the offer, granted I wouldn't care if the move succeeded since we'll still be racing either way just on a different track. The team doesn't want to go and be political about it, we are a team focus on putting on racing and making the crowd happy they come to the races, regardless of political views.

The crew and driver of the 67 team invite other competitors to join us in our boycott and not compete in this event

@NAS80RCN

@RedDragon's urge to have teams pull out of the Charlotte race is under discussion with the 80 crew. Making sure the bill is repealed first. #HRC #HB2

The #9 team will be there. There's no room for politics in our organization and whatever happens will be business as usual.

While we understand and respect the reasoning behind the boycott, and the teams which decide to participate, our team can not afford to miss a race.

#7 KANS Motorsports Chevrolet will be attending the race at Charlotte. I seek to participate in an equal opportunity event in the state, not protest and devalue the scope of the event.

I respect what the #67 team are standing for, however, I am not in a position yet where I can comfortably pull out of the event without being bumped into a dangerous points spot. I'd like to ask how close this race is to today?

5th Chase race.

I have a question: Would I be allowed to participate in the race in question as a grid filler, just a one off to see if I'd be interested in doing more races in the series? If so, I would look around for someone to make a livery

Yes. You and @CSMDuty11 are the first two on the list.

In that case, making a reservation of the #3 Panasonic Audi. Further details will come pending acceptance of that one off entry.
I can make that for you. :)

With new news that North Carolina is repealing its Anti-LGBT HB2 law, Charlotte will now resume its regular spot on the schedule.

Wasn't really doing anything. Japan's LGBT agenda as well as treatment towards women is just as bad.
