So out of curiosity, when is the next Road Course Test? I've just finished converting all my cars and I'm thinking its probably time to use THOSE instead of the ones I already sent off as they are on a much better Toyota Template AND finally have the Red Bull Pole Award added to them.

And next road course is unknown, but i wouldnt doubt it being either Surfer's or Old Spice.
 
Team TRD seeking to aquire discontinued car from ARTA?


After a much more productive test at Sonoma despite a slight mishap, It appears Team TRD might be up to something. Rumors have begun to spread that the team has reached out to Autobacs Racing Team America in the hopes of acquiring the team's Lone Toyota that was used at the Fontana Test. Last week, the team switched to Honda after a supposed falling out with Toyota. As a result, the team went into the Fontana Test with only one Honda driven by Baynehamlin1121 while teammate SVX drove the lone Toyota. While it has yet to be confirmed if Team TRD is indeed doing or why, it would seem only logical for the largest Toyota team in the series to add one more car. Some speculate the car could become a R&D car for the team while others think that the team may end up having a satellite team from one of two new entries in the series or possibly even a fifth car for the team.

Auckland, New Zealand- At the RTi home base today, team principal Amelia Neild made an announcement regarding the team’s name and title sponsorship. “Unfortunately, Bauer Hockey had to exit their title sponsorship deal with us. At this point, however, they are still onboard as a season sponsor and will appear on the primary livery of the #67 Toyota. Effective immediately our team name will change from Bauer RTi Team NZ to RTi Team NZ. Now I’ve had a few questions from younger fans asking what the RTi stood for, so I’d like to clear that up right here. RTi stands for RaceTech International. We started out in touring cars back many years with a single Volvo C30. After a disappointing campaign ended with getting the competition license revoked, we left touring cars and focused on other forms of motorsport. Now however, we are back with a slight name change to take on the toughest forms of motorsports in the world.”

As the press conference wrapped up, driver Jamie Neild dropped a couple of interesting hints, “Yeah, there is a new sponsor coming on board. I’m absolutely thrilled that they’ve agreed to this. Although my sis didn’t like it, I managed to convince her to give them the spot for free as they are something special, very close to my heart. We will also have a special livery just for them and will be incorporating their logo into every other livery other than the ‘Kiwi Invasion’ one. I can’t say much more at this point, but I’m absolutely chuffed to have them on board! I know that fans will be thrilled to see this livery when it is released, and we are working flat out inside the paint building to get the wrap completed and on the car.” The press conference ended as team boss Amelia Neild punched driver and sister Jamie for revealing that much information

Haha, don't worry, I'm just kidding around, you didn't forget my addition, that's the important thing. Also, I giggled at the fact that I was one of the last guys to come out of pitlane, my car was still being prepared right before the session started, haha. :lol: Also, it may be my eyes deceiving me, but the front grilles on the front bumper look to be painted yellow... Is that supposed to actually happen?
 
Good 5th place test result. Great KANS Motorsports showing.
 
27th again. Looks like I'll be spending a lot of time down there.

It's part of the template and I forgot to take them out or paint them. :banghead:

I could paint them or remove them if you want, import the car to the game and send nas the new .car file.

Oh, I see. Well, no need to beat yourself up over it, just remove those from the template and (re)send it to Nas if you can, it's nothing major.

It was just messing up my OCD (whatever that means, haha) seeing those yellow grilles, for a second I though it was the game acting up...

In the meantime, spoiler time (come on, call your friends);

RedDragon sure had an interesting way of entering the pitlane. Poor Nas was already pleading for the A.I. (may I repeat this, he was pleading with a videogame's Artificial Intelligence) to not drive the Maldonado way, that was a "Golden Comedy" moment right there. :lol:

As for my result, I like the consistency, although it wasn't a super fast lap, keeping the 7th position throughout the entire session was a commendable effort for sure. And boy does she look good while racing, even Nas approved of my livery (which was done by Mich, of course) The new Pontiac is running well, hopefully my (far more) talented teammate can run even better in future sessions...
