Set my FFB to 41% in the driver and put everything back to 100 % in the game, as suggested by the tool tips, it does clip on big curb strikes but felt better to me this way. Note I have a DD+ and Arthritis in my hands, wrists and shoulders, 41% equates to just over 7Nm of force which is more than enough for m these days!

The Pug felt really good to drive, the view feels off though, I'd like to see the display but matching wheel positions means I can't see much at all out of the windscreen, be interested to know what it feels like in VR!

The more I play this the more I’m becoming convinced that this is one of the most underrated sims out there. For triple screen users the customisation is superb along with the FFB.
And as for the much maligned graphics, I’m running a 4070 with everything maxed out and the Nurburgring at sunset is as glorious as any other sim out there and not even a hint of a frame drop. This is not the same game that I left and forgot about until this was recently bumped on here, reinstalled and is now the first thing I fire up every time I start my PC

Yep, I've been championing for years, so underrated

Gerr I can't buy stuff in this game. It keeps saying I have to have steam overlay active to buy stuff. Steam overlay is on both for this game and overall in steam as well.

I hope you eventually got this sorted ? And if so, what were you planning on purchasing? I went for the online racing pack as 12 cars and 27 tracks including 4 variants of the superbly done and VERY detailed Nordschleife was fantastic value at £25.

That's what I've been trying to buy. I also want the touring car bundle at £29.

Edit. I bought them. On the website logged in with my steam account. So I'm ready to go.

Edit 2. 4K and 120 fps is making me happy.

I have a huge selection of RRE cars and tracks and with the recent Super Tourer additions I am coming back to see how the current RRE is after years of not playing it.

Driving and sound still seem pretty good. Graphics are more than serviceable. Still stuff thats annoying to me. Downshift being denied so easily is very annoying, and also the really overzealous track cut detection. If you jump chicanes at Donnington its an invalid lap. If you track out all the way on the red and white curbs its an invalid lap. I feel like I have to relearn the lines everywhere.
