Did a search for this and couldint find anything so heres my topic....

I have been looking into racing schools, I've found a few that look good.
Skip Barber racing school is the only one I know of with a good reputation.
Another good looking one I found was Bob Bondurant School of high performance driving.

When I googled this mostly what I got were 'race car driving experience's' and a whole bunch of places I have never heard of before. =/

So my question is..
What are some good reputable racing schools in North America (preferabley western NA, although it doesint matter too much)?

Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

Barber and Bondurant are the absolute best schools going for road racing.
Bondurant also teaches executive protectors evasive driving, performance driving for street drivers, etc.

Definately either Barber or Bondurant

Yep, there are tons of good racing schools out there, but Barber and Bondurant are well known as the kings of racing schools.

You can't go wrong with Barber or Bondurant. You can also look into Roos and Evolution Autocross. You can also try to hook up with a car club, like BMW, Porsche, Miata, Corvette or Viper clubs which all hold track day events throughout the year. They aren't schools, per se, but you can run your own car and get good instruction for a fraction of the cost of a full blown race school. There is also BMW M School, which is, frankly, expensive for what it is, but a good program nonetheless.

Thanks for the replies everyone. :)

That Jim Russel one looks pretty good. Looked through the site and couldint find anything on whether the courses are in english, seeing as the site is in english I would think they are. :boggled:

Their "graduates" list is very, very impressive, too.
I would be inclined to agree. :D
