I listen to everything, literally. Rock, pop, classical, jazz, rap, country, S Club 7(don't tell anybody), etc. I admit, I'm a sucker for pop music.

Anyways, my list of bands I wanted to see used to be Paul McCartney, Oasis and blur, but I was able to see all of them in Portland. As I've told Cracker before, I got to see Oasis again recently, along with Kasabian and Jet.

Uncontrolled boost! Yes, that's right. If I want 20 psi of boost (~230-240 hp), I GET 20 psi of boost!

...and a $3,000 repair bill.

Then again another friend I had loosened his boost controller out too much on his Nissan Pulsar ET Turbo (Aussie only car) and the boost gauge jumped to 19psi before blowing off some vacuum lines.

Yes. It's supposed to be set to 13 psi, but other owners that I've spoken to say that sometimes (due to age) it'll allow a bit a more.

Didn't happen with me. I could actually feel the car losing "efficiency" past 15 or so psi. It accelerated harder while it was in yellow than after leaving the yellow.

Then again another friend I had loosened his boost controller out too much on his Nissan Pulsar ET Turbo (Aussie only car) and the boost gauge jumped to 19psi before blowing off some vacuum lines.

I blew off vacuum lines on my Thunderbird Turbo Coupe, before (several times actually). Never had that problem w/ the Volvo, though recently the car backfired (loose spark plugs from previous owner) and my airbox exploded under the pressure -- it just blew the clamps off the box. I ran ultra-rich then stalled out after that happened. Since that's been repaired (new plugs, fixed box) the car has run fine. Then I re-adjusted the boost controller (it was set to factory boost before) and the end result is what is seen in my avatar.
