Trial Mountain because it's the track that's changed least since GT1, to me anyway. I love the Nurburgring Nordschleife because I used to work near it and got to take a spin round it a few times. :D

Looks like a lot of people like Trial Mountain. It has been my favourite since GT1 too, and its my test track as well. Also all nurburgrings, spa, lasarthe, laguna seca, grand valley, ssr5.

Trial Mountain and Deep Forest and Spa

There easy and fun. I like that.

I have the same favorites only, change deep forest to the rev layout. And for tracks that we are missing, I miss El Captain (my trail mountain pt2) & Seattle street course. missing those 2 was a real burn for me'

I miss Costa Di Amalfi, and he tight French street course. Also the other street couturier goes through the European alleyways. I can remember the name of it though

Lol I came here to say the exact same thing. I miss Midfield so much...

Glad I'm not the only one, I learned so much at that track, how to drive a manual, how to drive without Traction control. The only place I ever hotlapped was there. I actually popped in GT4 yesterday to race there but it's so different from GT5 I couldn't drive right!

High Speed Ring, Deep Forest and Trial Mountain: I've been playing Gran Turismo since I was 4, starting with GT1 and working my way up as the titles have been released. Although there are a few more that have been is every GT game, these are my favorite by far. HSR is my all time favorite track, I love the layout of Deep Forest and the mountain edges in Trial Mountain are my favorite track feature I've ever seen in any fictional or real life track. Growing up on GT, these tracks hold a special place in my heart XD

Laguna Seca: My favorite RL track in GT5. Never knew about it until I played GT2 and I fell in love with the "Corkscrew" and Rainey Curve. These two turns remain my two "special" sections where I feel like I'm going faster than anyone on compared to any other track I've driver. I just feel so dominant driving through there that it's incredible!

Tokyo R246

I've always loved the flow of this track, and it has some nice high-speed sections that lead into one another. Plus I think all the buildings around and stuff just looks kinda cool, too.

Spa is my favourite, flows smoothly corner after corner, feels great when you hook up a good lap here. Autumn Ring is my second favourite, don't know why, I just enjoy driving this track.

A few others of my favourites in GT5 are Laguna Seca, Trial Mountain and Grand Valley speedway :)

I love spa (it makes me wish I had silverstone), I understand why the pros say its 1 of there favorite tracks, its a drivers track for sure.

My favourite original circuit is Grand Valley Speedway

My favourite City track is Hong Kong (from GT4)

My favourite Real track is Monza

My favourite Rally track is Tahiti Maze (GT4)

Grand Valley for Originals, Sarthe for World Circuits, Tokyo R246 for Cities.

I don't understand why so many people like la sarthe

I mean its cool that its le mans and the history behind it. But its such a crappy track. Its like special stage route 7. How is going fast in a straight line fun to you guys..

My current fav is spa. throwing a ferrari f1 on there is pure bliss!

It's funny how there's also 38 turns around to prove you wrong.

lol, wrong about what?

I never said there weren't turns in it. But the majority of it is a straight ass line.

brb setting my gear ratios to 300mph because Im not good enough for the ring!

Circuit de la Sarthe 2009 (No chicanes) because driving down the Mulsanne straight at 213mph in my Ford GT MKIV is driving heaven. :D

I have to chime in too... I miss Midfield as that is one of my favorites...

Trail Mountain - I picked this one up after the Licenses on it in GT2 I think and like most use it for tuning and as an index for performance. Its by far my most consistent track and feels like driving where I grew up a lot. I have a thing for rolling corners like the uphill climb to tunnel 1 and the segment right after the straight following the 2nd tunnel.

Real track I like Laguna Seca... That is another that because of the Licenses I became very consistent driving on and can even tune cars for that track.... Though I think Suzuki is growing on me lately... I love the shifting pattern going into turns 1 and 2! (6 -5 - 4 - 3 - 4)

City, I like Tokyo... Though I have never been a fan of that narrow section leading into the last corner... Still to this day I sometimes bump the wall in that gentle bend to the left before the last corner (the U)... It sneaks up on you because of the narrow roadway...

One thing I can't help but notice is that Midfield looks a bit like TGTT...

It looks nothing like it.

It does to me. Plus I could always generate very realistic Top Gear like times on Midfield in GT4...it's just it's the wrong way round to start, but then there's a reverse version of the circuit as well. Well, I think the first section looks similar to the last of TGTT anyway.

I don't want to get into an argument so I'll take your word for it.

Nürburgring 24 h. Love the fact that to nail the first corner you've got to go so slow that you think you have parked the car. The last chicane on the GP section is also nice, some hard braking there. And then of course there is the entire Nordschleife, and I like that the 24 hour version have lights on the track when you get to the camping areas (and that it is pitch black in between).

London. Never liked it much, but just last week I took the Honda Integra RM there for a test and it was a blast. For the lower performance cars London is great.

Cape Ring, great layout with a lot of S-corners that tests your ability to pick a fast driving line. Also, the view is spectacular.

La Sarthe is awesome when driving an LMP car. I also like the detail that you can drive through the chicanes if you're too late on the brakes. Also some spectacular reflection during night time.

Eiger K trail, driving up and down an alpine ski resort is great. The huge downslope is terrifying, it makes me love my brakes. I also like to take low power cars and tune them so they can climb the famous Fiat 500 hill from a standstill.

Actually, it is possible to fit a Midfield-like track in miniature over the TGTT, like a kart version. Like this:

Spa first and for most. Flowing and smoothness. Perfect for door to door racing. Great online.

The " Ring" second. Complete challenge all the way. Gearing wrong on the strait you loose. Gearing set to high you loose. You need a perfect balance. Expect delays when racing online, no one wants to yield to the faster cars.
