I'm gonna step out of line. 7. :D And that is the highest ranking I would give a video game, since GT3 is the best one out there.

It is my belief that they actually detracted form the glory that was GT2 by reducing the number of cars, eliminating the used cars, and adding a few tracks and better video graphics. They shoud just keep adding to the platform IMHO.

Also, as I have pointed out in another thread, the system they have incorporated for prize cars only allows you to win one of each on anything but the series races.

That steering wheel for $100 is just a tad overpriced. Nice steering wheel, but the actual steering wheel in my real car could be replaced for less than that.

And finally, they missed the boat BIG TIME when they made the data transfer ability beteen GT1 and GT2 obsolete with GT3. Buy I was pissed when I bought PS2 just for this game, and found out I had to take liscense tests again, and couldn't use any of the GT2 cars.

Sorry, but nothing ranks a 10 in my book. 10 would mean it's perfect, and there would be no room for improvement. The minute I see no room for making the game better, they will get a 10 out of me. ;)

Good call White_GSL_SE, apart from the not having to do licences again - that's half the challenge. If you don't make it harder, who's gonna come back?

BTW Avenger803 . What sort of result we you expecting to get in this thread on a GT Forum? A total flamin' and a couple of 'mmm, could go either way on this' responses? Not bashin' yer balls or anything, but come on... ;)

Eh, gotta say nine. The bad A.I., the little niggly errors (why must GT always be plagued with them! ). The lack of cars is disappointing too.

hmm, maybe u should got make over 150cars for a game?
how many other games have qauter of that number>

l give it 9. :D

10 Cause you aren't going to get perfection in anything. Much less a video game. The complaints aboot the lack of cars? perhaps 6-12 would've suited you better? come on there are plenty of cars in this game.

- I don't care if they're not licensed, but Ferrari HAS to be in next time PD-holes!!
- Pink Vitz
+ Graphics are phat!
+ Great variaty between the events.
+ In comparison to other racing games -GT and GT2 left-out- it has a HUGE number of cars.
+ The wheel shop!!!
+ The tuning shop!!!
+ JGTC's!!!
+ Complex String!!!
+ The whole GT atmosphere...

I give GT3 a 9,2 (-4 because of Ferrari Lacking, -2 because of the AI and another -2 because of the Vitz

I'll give it a 9, since there is in fact a possibillty to make it even better!

But it's, by far, the best racing game EVER!

i give it a 9.5 0.5 points deduction for the lack of any AI on the opponents. They just programmed 5 monkeys to drive the cars.

But the rest of the game is awesome :D

10 out of 10 for now 999999999999999999999999999999999.................................(rating goes off the scale when I get my IOGEAR PS2 6port BATTLEHUB)

i know there are glitches in the game but I dont care. It gives me the feeling that I had when I played he first two games so its just as good. Oh yeah Feeders Music Makes up for the glitches.

Thanks. :) But I'd rather that the licence tests became a standard set, only adding new tests with the additions of different kinds of racing or driving needs. I'd prefer to see more tracks, cars, and cup races than license tests. Make the actual races or tracks harder, not the license tests. ;)

I like the idea of having to get licenses, I just don't like the idea of having to wade through a boatload of tests every time they want to release a new game in the series...

There are less cars in GT3 than GT2 for the sake of graphic improvement. I think that is lateral progress. ;)
