Give it a 2/10. Started out really slow. The singers inaudible wailing and moaning wasn't appealing. Instruments were the best part of the song.



Also; As a Canadian, huge fan of rock n' roll, and fan of April Wine, anything by them gets 10/10 from me. :P

I think this is the most recent song posted, it's sort of been mucked up by arguments. Anyway...

The guitar was good, but to be honest, the vocals were terrible, and almost painful. But due to the funny ending (I don't know if it was meant to be funny), I give it a 4/10.

6/10, I'm not a big fan of this music style, reminds me of 80s hair metal. It's the vocals that kill it for me personally. That being said all the band members are incredibly talented and the music mix is great. You can hear all the instruments with out having to try, and nothing gets lost.
 
8.5/10 - Loved the guitar but not that great a fan of the vocals. Overall, a really good song but I feel that the vocals don't fit in with the music.

I'm assuming this is directed at me, and like I said.. I don't care about ratings at all.. I just wanted substance. I have bigger things to worry about then if someone likes my music or not. But I'm trying to bring an actually discussion into this thread so its not just another post count booster thread with no real meaning.

It was a generalization, not directly aimed at you. ;)

Posted song - 5/10

Drum rudiments - it's power / speed drumming, no real rhythm involved, not a big fan of that.
Vocals - not overly keen on the overpowering / top of the voice type portrayed.
Guitars - not bad, it's metal, seems sort of the norm for that genre, acceptable.

8/10 - I think Fly by Night is actually better. Something just doesn't fit with the way I feel about this song. Lyrics just seem a bit poppish until the one section. Shaaa!

However - that bass line is amazing, one of the things I'm trying to master.

The song starts at 1:20 but I recommend watching the whole video.
 
8/10. Not the sort of thing I'd usually listen to, maybe a little self indulgent, but definitely the sort of thing I'd want to come back to from time to time. A bit like Don Cabellero or Oceansize.
