I was actually really surprised with how smooth the transitions between the various riffs were, despite the fact that there were a number of differences between them. The ability and skill of the Iron Maiden group is well shown here. Man, I really need to listen to them more often.

I've never been a huge Maiden fan, I prefer my metal heavy and slow. So I was ready to give it a 7/10 on nothing but reputation... But I liked that a lot more then I expected so I give it an 8/10.

10/10. I have that album on cassette. Arguably my 3 favourite tunes off of it are "Iron Maiden", "Prowler", & "Phantom of the Opera". Too bad they only made two albums with Paul.

As for Metal Church, that's probably one of my favorite riffs of theirs... Such haunting vocals... Never thought about it but that's boarder line Doom, I love genre bending. 8/10
