How do you save as other than that default type, the pds or whatever...

I wanna be able to save as gifs and jpegs...

Heres my problem......

ViperConcept made me an avatar, but unfortunately it didn't loop, so I've tried to do this in photoshop, and now it loops, so I save it as a GIF file and try to use it on GTP. But when it comes on to GTP it no longer loops.

Why is this, am I doing something wrong???

Actually in order to save as a jpg, you go to Layers >> Flatten Image

Then you can save it as other formats instead of the pds...

Well, thats how it is in photoshop 5+ . not sure about LE.

In LE, you don't use export. Use the fuction save a copy.

Wow. I am getting a lot of conflicting answers. Can Loud or Pako clarify the CORRECT answer, please? I bet they know...

Why don't you just try it yourself? I just use the "save a copy" command in the file menu... The export menu is used for exporting GIFXX (cant remember the #'s), which you don't really want....

I am using LE at this present time for all my stuff.

I used the "saved optimized as" function for a GIF file........

I think I've fixed your image. If so, you can take it from here. It's hosted on my site, but it may get deleted, so you're probably best saving it, then uploading it using the avatar functions on GTP.

Let me know what you think/how you get on.
