he rest is up to you learn the lines / throttle controll /weight shifting and e-brake

GT3 Drifting is a joke. If you can't drift in GT4, but have tried, you CAN drift in GT3. There's a drifting guide a bit more in depth than this in the stickies, but I guess you're pretty much right.
