At one point Japan was the worlds leading producer of guns.
I believe the Japanese also produced a way to fire a gun without fail in the rain in around 1580. This problem was only solved by the rest of the world with 100% reliability with the metal cartridge in the 1850's.
I wish Japan got back into the industry. I'm fully aware of the politics surrounding firearms in Japan, but man, we have the technology!

Japan (Miroku) still produces guns for America for Browning and Remington. Mainly O/U shotguns, and they're loved for their excellent quality. Also HOWA rifles are made by Japan and they're renown for accuracy and quality.

Japan seems to churn out very cool guns, they should make more guns.

I was aware of those two(not Miroku by name, but I knew about the Browning), but it's in such tiny scale! I think Nikon is a bigger "firearm" industry name than any actual firearm manufacturers from Japan. :D

Industry over there excel in these types of engineering & manufacturing, and they are always trying to get out of the economic slump....... but come to think of it, where Japan struggle to compete is cost. While I think quality can be upped to match those of the Western gun manufacturers, I doubt they'll be able to keep the cost down enough to be competitive. I answered my own question. :P

I don't like Nutnfancy, but this pistol does seem to rock. I'Ve shot an original Tokarev and can only say good things about it. This is an updated version in 9mm. Also, 240 bucks FTW!

Where the hell do I mount the laser!!!

For under $250, you could do a lot worse, I'm sure. God, it really does look like an Eastern 1911.

My country's biggest and oldest arms manufacturer is celebrating his 150th anniversary and released pics from the ''Austrian Soldier'' with Steyr Mannlicher made rifles from 1864-2014. I find them pretty cool so I want to share them with you guys.

So, I've been looking for more magazines for my P7 and I've found they are generally going for $50-60 a piece, which is stupidly expensive. I ran across a guy that had 2 brand new magazines and 2 slightly used magazines all for $75. Still kind of expensive but definitely worth it.

They aren't hard chromed like my P7 and two other magazines, but they'll definitely work. 👍

I also talked to Kiesler Police Supply about a Gen 4 Glock 19 with night sights (for conceal carry) and I can get one brand new from them for $424 and some change. I love my P7 but it is too nice to carry every day so I'll probably be purchasing another Glock soon.

That sounds great. Love Glock 19s. Can you go ahead & straw-purchase one for me at that price?(PLEASE FBI, I'M MOST DEFINITELY JOKING). Seriously though, that is a great deal.

My USP mags were just as expensive as the P7's. I bought the gun used, sold the 2 Cali 10-round mags on eBay for around $90. Got 3 new full capacity(12rd) from Botach for tad under $150.

Sorry to hear the color don't match on the new P7 magazines, but I agree, for the price, that is a great deal. 👍

@Michael88 I LOVE the pics..... especially the 1961 & 2014(they are all awesome though). :P

Don't ever sell or trade that pistol! It's a classic and very collectable. A lot of history behind that gun when and why it was first adopted.

Have you guys ever used "Perfecta" ammo? I had never seen them, or heard of them before, but they were brass & $15 for the box at Walmart, so I picked up a few.

Hopefully they were good deal. They had other calibers, but .308 was the only one I could use. Checked two Walmart stores, still no .22LR. :D

Never seen or heard of Perfecta, but like Brett said, if its made in Italy its probably Fiocchi. And Fiocchi is very good, clean ammo. Keep the brass!

Thanks. Yeah, I'm a fan of the 60's pic. Bean soup camo and heavy metal. :dopey:

My god, I just realized that I should buy another Baikal single shot shotgun, won't see more of them anytime soon thanks to the genious Russian import ban.

Nooooooo.....:ouch:

That's not that lightweight shotgun that beats you up, is it? :D

Edit: I forgot to mention this, but they finally opened a Walmart by me today. They 🤬 me at the opening(in the morning, long story), so I went back at 11am, and almost all coveted ammo were gone. Big surprise. I saw couple of those 100rds high velocity Winchester(similar pkg as CCIs), also one box of Perfecta .45ACP + few of those .308 Perfectas I picked up last week.

I got the employee, told him I wanted the last two of the .22s, last box of .45, also couple of .308...... He says there is a limit of one box per customer. One box limit, total.

What I don't understand is, how could they be gone of all ammo with people being limited to one box of ammo. Something doesn't add up...... :irked:
Just made a cool photo. :D
What is that?

Next time you buy ammo get a few friends and family members so they can all get one box for you. Thats what I'd do if we had a 1-box ammo limit here.
I tried. Not one showed remote interest in helping a brotha out. bastards... I can't really blame them though. I walk during lunch break? This Walmart is so close to my work, I decided to walk to the store today. This process to buy "one box" took close to ten minutes. Yeah.

Also, mystery solved on how all those ammunition disappeared yesterday morning(on the grand opening). I couldn't understand how everything was gone from the shelf with this "one box limit". I asked the guy who was helping me, "is one box limit still in effect?." He says he doesn't know anything about any limit. :banghead: A manager walks by, he asks about the limit, manager says "one box, per day." Clerk tells him that he was just handing them out yesterday, manager goes "I know." :banghead: :banghead:

Was I surprised at all I was able to picked up one box on a slim picking, and few lucky others were able to clean the store out on all the .22 shells? No. Not at all.
You should know that! ;)
Maybe it does look sort of familiar? Inside the hairdryer?(I'm probably right)

Ah, solidarity among friends and family always warms my heart. Sorry to hear that.

Maybe I've already mentioned it, but you should get started with reloading. :D
You can buy a million brass cases, bullets and tons of powder and assemble your own ammo while laughing those dumb SOBs at the store in the face.

LOL? You must think I've completely lost my grip on sanity now that I start posting closeups of hair dryers.:lol:

Its of course gun-related.
