Record Breaking Number of Users Online

I have an idea. Let's break the most users online record. No?? I want your opinion. If many like the idea, I'll make a time up.

Umm... What if people can't come on? I have school during the day and some people have work, Can it be Saturday or something?

Yeah, it will break at GT5 time. Plus, the total users ever online is a proper statistic, we would be mucking with it and that wouldnt really be our true users online. I dunno if it makes sense to you but whatever *shrugs*.

Yeah but if we combine gt5 braking time AND an attempt to break the record maybe the people who weren't going to go on at when gt5 is coming out will go online too. So let's say this idea will take place on the day that gt5 comes out. No?

It sure will, People go on when they please, Sometimes it happens to be alot, Sometimes not. It's a fluke thing to get alot.

So you basically want to slow the site down to stupid levels? I don't think that is a good idea.

I'm sure people remember the measures Jordan had to resort to keep the site at a decent speed when GT5 was at that game show a few months back.
