Yes but I frequently join trackdays and tuning rooms to do serious tuning with other people. having restrictions is usually an afterthought after some 🤬 comes in with an x1. then you have drift and drag rooms which usually go unrestricted for freedom of car choice.

That's my main concern, as I have already seen quite a few reckless morons take their X1 for a ride during a drifting session. The 9th of October is most cetainly going to be an interesting day for the GT online community.

I already have 3 and I could care less if I got another. Would be neat though.

PP = 900
-all cars except X1 can enter
-Guy in 500 PP NSX drives wrong way and ruins drift session.

What's wrong with restrictions or the X1?

Then don't play GT5 for a week.....people are forgetting that we only get the car IF Vettel wins...if he does win and you still don't want a free car....don't log in.

I amazed at the backlash at PD for this. People say all the time they want more. This will be a free car if Vettel wins and people still are not satisfied????

Can't wait to see everyone's complaints when spec 2 gets here..........

I just don't care about the free X2010. Joy for those who are excited about it, but nothing will change for me, and most likely a lot of others...

With the perma glitch, the Vettel challenge glitch and the pre 1.06 trading the rarity was already gone.

Edit: Kudoos for Kaz and PD for giving such a present btw. Shows some respect to the gaming community, even after almost a year.

It wouldn't do any good. The only way Vettel can possibly lose the WDC is if he not only scores zero points in all five remaining races, but also Button must win all five of them. Button in second or third anywhere just won't do. Even if something did suddenly happen to take Vettel out, there's virtually a zero percent chance of Button winning the next five races.

Button is good, but there's better drivers around him. Button didn't so much earn his way into second place in the points as much as Hamilton crippled himself out of it, but as long as Lewis can remember not to crash into everyone he almost always outperforms Button. If Button, Alonso, Webber, and Hamilton each take wins in the upcoming races (or any combination of two or more of these), Vettel could spend the next two months in a coffin and it wouldn't take the win from him.
 
They can give me one. It will be a nice ornament to my garage that I can appreciate as conceptual art as I walk past it and strap into a Ferrari.
 
I have 3. 1 from bronze in the challenge, 1 from level 35 B-spec & 1 purchased for the colour. (Burnt orange & why I bought it, I can't even say.) I can't even tell which is which anymore, there's so must dust covering them...

Exactly, it's so easy to keep people from
using X1s.. I don't see why people complain about it.
 
I think it's a nice gesture, but I already have two and never use them. I'd have loved to have seen them overlay the F1 car's livery onto one of the FGT's instead. That would also,potentially, get around the Codemasters license, as it's not on an actual Formula 1 car.
 
I hoped that you get a X1 for completing the game 100%.
I was wrong, What a shame that you get it so early. And then the Vettel challenge unlocks - on lvl 40 , what a shame. Not everyone would have it if so a written above.
 
Vettel challenge doesn't unlock on lvl40. The ability to buy X1's does though.

Unless you meant you'd like it to be like that.

Actually. The FGT cars from GT4 and some from GT5 do take on liveries of actual F1 cars in a sense.

The base car is Sauber considering the all blue livery.

I know its a stretch on all of them but that's what the cars do remind me of. I wish there were more colors though.
 
I don't really mind everyone getting a X1, but it just makes the car more pointless because it's already been traded with all the stupid rammers that play online 24/7. :sly:

If he wins the world championship, which he needs one point for, so he needs a top ten finish, if he crashes, no x2010 for us lol.
