It's annoying. A friend of mine cannot do the vettel challenge and I have done it. Now he will get one for FREE. I spent hours doing the challenge, but ah well *sigh*
 
Play the game long enough and you'll get two for free without having to complete the Vettel challenge.. A and B spec lvl35.

Yes but I frequently join trackdays and tuning rooms to do serious tuning with other people. having restrictions is usually an afterthought after some 🤬 comes in with an x1. then you have drift and drag rooms which usually go unrestricted for freedom of car choice.

You dont receive a free anything at level 35 A-spec...I've been to level 40 A-spec twice now and you get nothing but a trophy even at level 40...It's messed up that b-spec gets the free X2010 and not the hard working A-spec only racers.
 
My bad, it's been a while since I got mine.. I have at least 14 of the bloody things, can't remember how or why most of them got there :lol:

I think it was the second Vettel one I got for bronzing the challenge that confused me.. Ah well, you do get one for free at least :lol:

EDIT: LVL40 twice? Christ almighty.. That's insane. Good man 👍

Don't get me wrong but A-Spec is usually a lot easier than B-Spec. There's no need to adjust your setup in A-Spec but it's required in B-Spec and can be a PITA. :grumpy:

This response is almost too absurd to respond to...Can you take a nap when you're racing A-spec?...Nuff said!...
 
Can't we just get a random colour, or a gold version? I mean, this is the ugliest version and the easiest to get.

I really dont mind. As long as its not the prototype :D Finally got the prototype a few weeks ago after many hours of hard work :D
 
A championship edition will look awesome, will not ruin any rarity, and will let you see who logged in and who didn't.
 
Indifferent. I only want it for my collection, I'll probably never ever use it... I dislike the car with a passion, regardless of it being a feat of Engineering.

And I still will not allow X2010's in my lobby...
 
I have 6 or 7 Vettels already so another one won't hurt. I think major props go to PD for doing this.

I even used to translator on my pc and from Japanese to English it says the same thing.
 
Just watch, after all this, Vettel will crash and finish out of the points. :p

I don't feel that bothered by Kaz giving free Red Bulls, I bronzed the Vettel challenge too.
 
I have managed to avoid having this lump of ass in my garage, despite having three coloured and one prototype X2010 in my garage at the moment...and I'm nowhere near A-Spec 40 or B-Spec 35. I have pretty much stopped doing remote races just to avoid the noob's X2010...
I'm fully prepared to leave GT5 on my shelf for a week if it means I don't have to own this car

Use a PP limit.

But really, the whole banning X1's from rooms is just stupid. If someone causes trouble, kick them. It's the driver, not the car. I don't know why people assume that the X1 turns drivers into maniacs. I've actually never had to kick an X1 driver. The only trouble causers I've faced in my rooms drive everything else.
 
Nice gesture but I fail to see the point. The car isn't that much fun and even if you don't win the Vettel challenge there are more than a few ways to win this.
Even though its Level 35 B-Spec due to remote racing this is no longer a daunting task. I would have preferred if somehow Red Bull could give a RB7 F1 car since that would be more fun.
