I do not understand why your PS3 has to be on for this to happen... they could have just had your bob ulpoaded to GT and all this handled on the GT.com side no?

Well only one out of 16 has to have there PS on. Otherwise it works the same as B-Spec, but against your friends and no commands. You still the PS3 to do the computing power.

I'm with you on that one. I can't have the game running non-stop. My wife uses the PS3 to watch Netflix movies when she gets home from work. If I have the game going she'll just exit it. I guess I'll put my bobs online anyway so that others can build their xp for me.
 
I have 6 Lv. 35 and up drivers ... add me if you are sharing your B-Spec drivers so we can get more XP and credits per race.

Right now only one friend is sharing his 2 drivers so I'm limited to 3 player races.

For some reason my Friends list still isn't updating on granturismo.com.

I've logged in and out of both systems now, and my new friends show up on my in game GTHome, but not on Granturismo.com.

Frustrating. I want to remote race!
 
Just a heads up, whenever you collect your prize money from your Bob's, the game does not autosave afterwards, you have to manually click the save button.

So that's what happened. I collected prizemoney and XP and immediately quit the game. My driver lost all the XP gained from the remote races (didn't notice the credits).

I'm running some tests right now to see what the XP/Cr payouts look like with different numbers of drivers. Stay tuned .....
 
There's a thread on B-Spec friends in the B-Spec sub-forum but I'll post here too - add me. PSN: martona33. Just mention b-spec in the request.

I have 4 bobs shared and I run races too (not just waiting for you to do it).

One observation after a few races: it's totally down to luck, as cars matter more than anything else. My level 40 got a Ferrari 458 and obviously couldn't hold it's own against a W12 Nardo driven by a level 38. In a new race this same bob got the W12 and is kicking 11 other butts. (Some poor guy is about to get lapped in an Aston... pfft :)
 
Well I was trying to figure out if you get more Cr/XP when racing against more drivers. Doesn't appear to be the case. I did however have one disturbing experience. My Mac completely froze up half way through a race. I had to hard reset it to get it back up. That has never happened to me before so I suspect the remote racing client was the culprit. If it happens again that'll be it for me.

Anyone else have this happen? I'm running the latest Snow Leopard on a core i7 iMac with Safari....

It's a normal website, not a client. The problem relies in your Safari/system then.

I switched to Chrome on my MacBook Pro, since Safari has become a slow and unstable hog in the latest updates.
 
I've been thinking about it for five hours now, and I've got an idea. We'll run it though the recon computers and see what pops out.
 
I tried it last night but only a couple of my friends were sharing so not much reward. Feel free to add me have 4 bobs the highest level is 20. My psn is glamredhel69
