First. He didn't steal it.You gave it to him. This whole trade dealing works on the honour system. You may as well just chalk it up to experience and move on.

Also should say that Witch hunts never end well for anyone involved. Naming and shaming wont get you anywhere and this thread will soon be removed.

Agreed.. Just put it on the trade reputation thread instead of starting a new one

You may as well not comment because no one asked for your non helpful opinion.

Yeah, 🤬 u for getting cocky, welcome to the big leagues kid.. We all get burned but we don't cry we just do the right thing on the right thread instead of wasting the moderators time with new and pointless threads..

explain to me how warning people is pointless, not everyones name is in the reputation thread and not every one looks at the reputation thread. so thank you very much but i dont need people telling me this is pointless..

Big leagues?

I like how everyones first response is "Put it in the reputation thread"

well if you took the time to actually read the thread, you'd see in bold letters that negative reputations are not allowed to be posted..

I did any thing else mother?

Grow up. It's a video game. After reading your first post I did feel some pity for you, because it's happened to me, but after seeing your little temper tantrum, gone. Stop acting like a 12 year old.

They're all right. There's absolutely no need for this. You think he's the only one?

You give them "neutral" feedback which all experienced GTP'ers know to mean negative with out exactly saying it. Sorry I should have been specific about what I meant..

"Now that GT5 has been out for a while and the marketplace has been available for two months, the moderators have conducted an informal internal review of the subforum, and we've decided to make a few policy changes that we think will be better-suited to the forums.

In the past, our policy has been for members to report bad trades to the moderators, but this will no longer be the case. I myself have received close to - and in all likelihood, over - one hundred reports of users deliberately carrying out bad trades. Although this represents only a tiny proportion of overall trades, it is a very disappointing statistic.

In response to this, the following changes are going to be made in the subforum: moderators will no longer be investigating reports of bad trades. These are simply too time-consuming, and yield very low results. Of the one hundred complaints I have received, only a handful of the accused have actually been on the receiving end of moderator action. As such, the policy for bad trades is changing: if you believe you have been the victim of a bad trade, then please use the Grief Reporting function on the PSN homepage. If you contact a moderator about someone who has been ripping you off in the Marketplace, you will be redirected to the the PSN site, or at least to this thread.

Please be aware that the rule regarding public accusations of wrongdoing is still in effect. Do not accuse anybody of improper conduct on these forums - even if you have evidence to substantiate you claims. Once again, we request that you use the grief reporting function on the PSN site. Anybody who does post an accusation on the forums will be met with severe moderator action, most likely a warning or an infraction. Even if you seem to think you are doing somebody a favour, you will receive a penalty for your actions. This is because all trades are entered into at your own risk. The moderators, administrators or the forums themselves cannot be held accountable if a trade does not go as you had planned.

Thank you,

The moderation team.

UPDATE:
Okay, it seems that some people need reminding of this rule: do not publicly accuse someone of wrongdoing. Even if you believe you have undeinable evidence in support of your claims, you still may not accuse people. It only ever leads to infighting and flame wars, which usually lead to mass bans. Just because the moderators can ban people, it doesn't mean we want to. But don't doubt that we will if you leave us with no other option. Use the grief reporting function on the PSN homepage.

This ban on accusing people also applies to the report post function. Some people seem to think that it's entirely acceptable to use the report post function to report bad traders. So that there is no doubt in your minds, I will say this: it is still banned. I've just had to issue a flurry of warnings and infractions to people for doing just this overnight. Don't think that just because a reported post is between you and the moderators, it is okay to accuse others. Chances are that you'll be the one to be n the receiving end of moderator action for ignoring instructions." -Not my quote-

No he didn't steal it but you gave it to him actually, how did you come to mind you want to trade your cabon R with something of a less value if you didn't want to relinquish it to anybody else?

And also I don't see why you need to plead the network to deactivate his own gaming account just to take the car back and accuse of his infamous deeds... it's no longer returnable as long as he gets forbidden having fingers with it.

No you can't get his account banned, but if you continue to flagrantly disregard the AUP you'll find yours is well on the way to it:

AUP
You will post all messages in English.
You will not use “textspeak” (“r”, “u”, “plz”, etc.) in your messages. Decent grammar is expected at all times, including proper usage of capital letters.
You will not behave in an abusive and/or hateful manner, and will not harass, threaten, nor attack any individual or any group.

If you could provide proof to the staff (rather than just going for an AUP-smashing name and shame thread) that you didn't receive the car a member said they'd send you in exchange for yours, we might consider doing something about it. But no such proof exists - you can't prove non-existence.

This should be a warning to you to either only gift cars without condition or to arrange mutual gifting with trusted members.
