im just gonna do vigilante much much more benificial, not only do you get money but kills, cars blown up and distance traveld in heli and even stars attained and evaded, how cool.
 
Yeah. I'll be doing that when I want to get up on the Kills/Destroys areas. Not to mention if you keep going, you'll get a good Vigilante Level.

Why the 'X' pushing? - I'm taking the game nice and slow, so i've only betted about 6 times, lost the first 5 with low bets, then stuck all i had ($15,000ish) on a 10-1 horse and won! - but i never touched a button during the race - is it meant to help?

He was referring to betting the Maximum ($9,999,995) on the longshot to try and max your money--you have to hit the $10,000 button about 1000 times in order to bet the maximum amount-- I did this to max my money--- if I lost I'd reload and do it again--- I probably hit the x button 60,000 times betting when I was maxing my money.

Pushing the buttons during a race don't appear to do anything to me.

i just finished the mission where you drive and scare the guy while he's tied to your hood.

after that, i've been distracted by mgs3 and nfsu2.

If you continuously bet about 20% of your money on the longest odds horse it'll profit nicely in the long run. No reloading or anything, just keep betting on the same horse over and over and he'll win enough to make you a very big profit. But it's a bit boring. I got my cash up to $5,000,000 and just quit.

Back on topic, I finished the Pimp missions and about half of Taxi Driver last night and finished the first Import/Export list today. I spent TWO HOURS looking for an Admiral. After a while I got bored and decided to go get CJ a new haircut. I found it about 5 minutes after I stopped looking for it. The only car on the 2nd list I don't recognise is a Stafford. Can anyone describe it for me? I found Roboi's Food Market in Los Santos but there's no BMX outside to start the courier mission. Is it the one just to the west of Mulholland junction in the very north of Los Santos? I've been there about 5 times and there's never a BMX there.

It says stratford in the site I found it at--but this is it-- look for the big grill in the front and the raised hood.

Thanks for the pic and description. Your original post said "Lincoln Town Car". That's gibberish to me. What I know about cars you could write on the back of a postage stamp.

That pic will help me no end. Now I know what I'm looking for. I'll probably end up pulling my hair out looking for it like I did the Admiral though.

I removed the lincoln thing since a lincoln is a 2 door (I think) and thats a 4 door--looks more like a big mercedes, caddilac, or even a rolls (I'm not too sure)--- i found mine in Prickle pine--then blew it up 2 blocks away from the crane--- I found another somewhere else soon after (i forget where) and delivered it no problem. The 3rd list is pretty ez (although I still have 2 left to do).
 
The pic is all I need. Now I know what I'm looking for. But it doesn't look familiar, so I'll probably end up doing what I did for the Admiral and just drive around aimlessly untl I come across it.

But thanks for the pic and info. At least I know what kind of car to look for now.

its over near millies house in LV, there are heaps of em there, Its a rolls royce so its a posh car
 
Well, I loaded up my game today and came across a Stafford on the Strip in Las Venturas about 2 minutes later. The rest on the list were easy to find. All I need now for the 2nd list is a Tanker.

I was just gonna say, I mostly see Staffords on the strip, Have'nt actually seen one in LS like other people have said.
You should be able to find the Tanker in the country easy enough.
Just finished import/Export myself today, damn that Euros is hard to find.:ouch:
 
I've just done the mission "Los Desperados", on 65%. I'm guessing I'm somewhat close to the end of the game now, so it's time to start mopping up oysters, horseshoes, photos, courierses and street races, it would seem.

I think I'll go get it now then. Is it always there? Where is the Mesa found. I know it's the same as the Mesa Grande in Vice City but I don't remember seeing it anywhere. I still have to find the Journey and something else whose name I can't remember but I know where they're found.

edit: All I need to finish the Import/Export is the Mesa. I know what it looks like, does anyone know where it spawns or where's a good place to look for it?

mesa is found where the finish line is for the chillad challenges. (bottom of mt chillad near angel pine.) the euros and mesa arnt always their though the euros is 95% and the mesa is like 50% or less.

I've finished all the Import/Export lists. I was going to do some street races today but I never got round to it. I think tomorrow I'll plough through the hidden items. I've downloaded some good maps so I'll make my way through them tomorrow. I'm currently at 93%

I've made some progress-- currently at 89% on 85 hours-- one car left for export-- all street races and air checkpoints done, completed both dirtring events, golded boat school & motorcycle school (still have to go back and gold driving school), did courier on LV---

I did the first Mt Chilliad race-- how many are there???

I went back to Roboi's food mart on MulHolland and no vehicle there again (I tried leaving and coming back)--- I looked all around---is there more then one Roboi's????

I still need to go back and do Zero's missions, but other then that just loose ends I think-- trucking, 8 track, oysters, tags, photos, horseshoes--- I want to get at least 1/2 of each before I consult a guide--I was hoping to get 75% of each but I don't know if it gonna happen (too much land mass to search), still need to finish assets (courier missions)
 
there are 3 chillad races and the hardest is last :(. just take it easy on the boardwalk ok
 
I put in 144 hrs for my 100 % Now I need to go back and try to use the glitch for the gang terrotories , I miss seing gangsters around and lack targets..hehehe..this game is sooooooo dammmm good..anybody make the jump at snake canyon yet ?? hehehehe
 
I've made a decision. I'm not going to re-play the game to finish the Storyline again. I've already done it, and at the place I am in the game ("Grove 4 Life" and the OG Loc Chase mission recently completed), it is perfect for my storyline. I will only complete it again when I want to go for 100%.

I've already done it, so there isn't much gain for me (except to see the ending sequence) to re-do it again.

Also, that Stafford is an old Merc. ;)

Complete it again. I recently accidentally saved over my save game which had the storyline missions completed. I thought I posted it in this thread, but obviously not. I can't remember which one, but I explained why it happened.

Either way, I've gone from having the Storyline Missions completed to being up to the Riot missions again. It will be easier to do the last mission again when doing 100%, as I will do Firefighter before it.
 
Back in LS now and having fun removing the Ballas from the face of the planet (again!!)...

Back upto 50% territory... and I also found 8Ball's garage... in the middle of LS near the Dance Club and next to a 24/7!! Blew up a few Ballas with the Rigged Sunrise that I created!!
