Request for a video host...

19xx created a music video for my Trail Mountain drifting lap...it's about 7 megabytes, is anyone willing to host it?

It's ok though I know what you meant. I will host the video, I've been trying to set up an ftp on my site so that users can freely exchange stuff but I'm having 'issues' with that right now. If you'd like to ICQ it to me now though, I will put it up for you. My ICQ number is 1302837, or my e-mail is pergatory@pergatory.net. That goes for anyone else too. It won't be permanent because I have limited space available to me but I won't delete them unless I have to (and they will be deleted in the order they were received).

Preg, thanks for the generosity, yet I would like to see more people to help others as well. I was just expressing anger that some have the money to go drifting but not web hosting.

I got a plan that has 30GB bandwidth and can go 60 if i get two accounts. It should be sufficient.

EDIT: Oh, you have ipowerwebtoo. I was going to go with Globat but I heard they have bad service;

I would like to do my own hosting but currently i'm unable to do so, coz i'm not at home most of the time and i'm not sure how to do so too. Though i'm gonna create my own abode next year during my first year uni...

I didn't look at Globat but I did look at a lot of places and ipowerweb seemed the best. They have a very well-rounded deal, which is surprisingly hard to come by. Also the cheapest place around with a decent reputation. I used their customer support just today and got a response in about 1½ hours which isn't bad for a Sunday.

I did a search on hosting videos this is where it brought me.
Without starting an entire new thread about hosting videos.....
What is the best deal out there so I can host my own videos so I dont have to bother anyone??? I dont need a huge amount of space but I would like to host my own videos and have them stream quickly for people to view them.

Oh no, i was answering the first post.... Search it up on the net, there are plenty of cheap servers out there

yeah.. Geocities gives you about 5mb's but you can put 3 5mb videos on it.. about room for a 56k friendly video and Freewebs gives upto a 40mb of space.. but you get what you pay for and Freewebs is slow But

Thank you to the people that helped. So far these are the places I will try. I dont know a lot about what to look for when it comes to video hosts so if there is something I need to look out for, please let me know. I heard a couple people mention to watch how much bandwidth I get.

Freewebs seems to only be for websites. I guess I am looking for sites or servers to host videos. I already have one for pics. Mabey I should get the FTP like mentioned in the other thread.
