Are people really that desperate about pCARS that they'd go as far as to request to rename what was and will always remain a Gran Turismo focused site?

It's just a freaking video game for crying out loud, yet some believe pCARS will be the Messiah that will 'save the racing sim genre'.

Some people...

Err... you do realize this is a joke, right?

It's supposed to be a joke, but the constant PCARS hype is much more of a joke. It's absolutely incessant. You can't even start a thread in the GT or Forza section without the same few people coming in to start a PCARS flame war.

Give the constant kissing-up a break, people.

Too true. But the point is mister VBR doesn't actually want to rename the forum PCPlanet, and mister AudiMan was making it out as he did. Unless, of course, I am wrong on that assumption...

Hence, it's a joke, but a completely unfunny one intended to just plug that certain game again.

On the EXTREME off chance that Jordan wants to change GTPlanet's name, he can re-open this thread.

Until then, just because you're bored doesn't mean you have to start pointless threads.
