@Halcyon925 my guess would be one of the coffee break events is not gold.
Somebody is not listening. That's funny. Haha. It could be the game version (how the disk was manufactured) that makes the 99% problem; but I doubt that. I have seen proof of my friend's 99%, but I will ask him to re-check all of the events again. And if this means anything, it could be the version of Gran Turismo 6 itself. He has the 15th Anniversary Edition Gran Turismo 6. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that could be a possiblity to why he has a 99% IF he completed every single event.

You friend has not golded every event. Period.
Yep.'Events' include the stupid cone-killing coffee break ones as well, right?
It's at least part of the reason - where "part of" can mean anything from "most" to "all". I can't say whether you have actually got a gold in everything else and it's just those bits of the Coffee Breaks missing, or whether there's a stray not-gold or two somewhere else too, but to get a 100% Status you need to gold everything you can possibly gold. If it's not there yet, there's something missing from your list.I've golded all the A-spec races & coffee break races, but not the coffee break cone events. Even though I received the Platinum trophy, I'm still on 97%. Is that the reason?

@Jaywalker I found it much easier to drift using a controller.
