The Young Ones were fantastic! I used to get special dispensation from my Mum to stay up and watch it (used the usual "But MUUUUUUMMMM! EVERYONE ELSE gets to watch it").

Then it came back into popularity when I was a student, and we spent hours watching it frame-by-frame to see if Vivian really did hit Rick with a floorboard. We think he probably did. And we loved the vodka molotov cocktail in the episode where they were all ill.

Well did you know that the

WHAT? i say speak english, at least welsh don't speak like that, i find it unnecessary for u to insult a country which has done nothing to you. I suppose u scots and we welsh are both as bad as each other, they both take the crud out of each other.
any way i watched some scottich comedies like, billy connely, Rab C nesbit, whats that echhooo Boooorrrrriiinnngg!!

Lotus 350 u must have my style of comedy, Red dwarf is one of my favs, simpsons, the young ones is good, family guy is also excellent, in fact i like all of them.

The American Idol commercials are funnier than a whole episode of Family Guy. Maybe I just don't get it.

On the other hand, Red Dwarf is truly hilarious, and I have a permanent grudge against Public Television because MPT cancelled the show 1 month after I finally put a crowbar in my wallet and donated $50 to them.

The Young Ones are pretty funny. I used to watch them back when MTV played mostly videos.

The Simpsons are still surprisingly good and I will watch any episode unless I've seen it 20 times. We were big Matt Groening fans back before the Simpsons were even invented; reading his comic strip "Life In Hell" which is really really really funny.

Yes red dwarf is very popular world wide but also who is Your favorite character out of Red dwarf and whats your favorite series, Kryten is my favorite character he played excellently during Series 8, and Series 7 was brilliant.

well family guy is funny, i know folk who really do not like it but then like me love the show, i think its an aquired taste.

Kryten was great! but if I was to pick a favourite ( which is hard) I'd have to say ... CAT or is it KAT? hardly said much but when he did

i think its world wide, i mean i know its shown in new zealand so technically it is sort of World wide, anyway go to the red dwarf website and u will get news on the Film they will be realesing next year.
Lister was pretty good as a sort of main character and yep CAT played very much a vital part to red dwarf, i think they all worked as a team to make it very funny.
I think in the futre the show will be looked back on as a classic.
