I don't like this version of the Ring, because I think that there are a lot of mistakes in many sectors and it's too much bumpy!

Have you found another version that you do like better? Or in some other game maybe?

I'd like to run it occasionally, but still trying to figure out which sim has the best version.

@Volraic: sorry, but we are in 2014 and the quality of this version is like a 2005 !

Try to look at this one from GT Evo'

Sure it isn't perfect, certainly not eye candy (although it is getting better). On the other hand it represents the ring for what it is; a huge challenge to drive. This particular version is being converted, I am extremely happy to have it.

Granted, I've only done a handful of laps there in real life (10 or so on a motorcycle, and 15 or so in a car) but I do remember some sections being quite bumpy. I haven't driven it enough to recognize imperfections here and there, but this one doesn't seem TOO bad from what I remember, but that was coming up on 10 years ago now since I drove there.

You are right mate, but the Ring has been paved lately!:)

The Spanish GP went off well, ~ISR~Barrabba ran off into the distance, he had the best car all weekend long.

Here is the podium, here's the results ISR uses Live racers- they have a really slick system and a great server.

The next race is the US East GP at 70's Watkins glen.

So... What's new on that build?

Not much it doesn't seem like. Supposedly some optimizations and FPS improvements. Chassis flex sounds sweet though. Now we could have a go kart mod with at least relatively accurate physics.

Indeed sounds interesting, how accurately or realistically can they reproduce it?? Now that's a completely different subject.

You can use the updater to get the new version, check the ISI forums for changelog.

Uninstall the Searspoint track (manually go to the Installed/Locations folder and delete it)

This is a known prob with this build- if you don't get rid of this track, the game will not start with this build.

Thank's for the heads up Guybo! Will definitely do tomorrow!

If anyone wants to register a team for the BES race in Oct, sign ups are open at our new forum. Registration not necessary, but encouraged. This will be the first of various races we'll hold- both as special events (definitely) and on Monday nights (if we find the people for it)
