I noticed the same thing Java, didn't have time to look into it. Happens on replays only.
 
Found the solution in the iRacing forums:

That's a known issue, they already warned about this in the release notes:

- Black boxes on cars for some video cards, current fix is (in the session) settings, then set HDR profile to none.

Lol!! Why do people even insist on comparing Beta content to iRacing?? Yes the track is very very good, to the point where an iracer will feel right at home and no adjustments have to be made. Other than that there is a lot of tweaking to be done on rF2's physics, lighting, tire model and many other areas. I have absolutely no doubt that once everything is sorted content like Lime Rock can be compared and the game's physics/graphics/tire model will come on top. But until then any comparison is just pointless.

Most likely going to need access to the router settings, the password to which I don't have.

Use that, all I did was edit some lines in the muliplayer.ini and clicked host.
Then I opened the recommended ports in my firewall. And then I realized I'd need to go into the router settings, which my Dad won't give me the password to... yet (:sly:).
Take a look through the above thread.
Try stuff in this order: Multiplayer.ini (edit everything relevant (NOT THE PORTS!)), open ports in firewall, open ports in router settings, then look through that thread if we still can't join it.
 
I am one step closer to having a proper dedicated rF 1 & 2 server, the originalone is not powerful enough. Bought the case yesterday, I have all the guts but missing the power supply. The last thing I will need is a monitor, after that it will be my mission to have the server running and plenty of racing for us!

Seriously? Where do you get good info on the rF server mysteries?

I will be building a server regardless since I have most of the bits, that way (if you guys let me win) I can leave it running for joo :p
 
I just tried clicking Host in the bottom right hand corner of the Launcher. I saw the server show up. :lol:
Just kept trying to troubleshoot my way through things. I've hit a dead end with the router settings though. I'm 99.9% sure that's the issue. My Dad won't let me open three measly ports. :(

You gotta stop letting youtube fudge your videos. Anytime it says anything about the video being shaky or anything like that, click no.
 
I really like my G27 with rFactor 2,great ffb,so for now I keep it! I'm goin to upgrade the brake pedals(now I have the AP-Elettric mod) with Perfect Pedals!
