i made this thread for people to say how riced up there car is or is it bone stock.:)

Mines a 1992 accord i put a cold air intake complete catback exhaust headers its teal and it has a killer system

Mine are both more or less stock... all it has is some aftermarket wheels and tires, and the wheels weren't my choise, it would be sporting the stock three spokes if I could find some for cheap.

The totalled Civic has the muffler removed, which actually sounds really good. I don't know why kids bother with putting those huge fart pipe things on Civics, for much less money you can get a louder and much better sounding car :)

Bone stock except for some minor mods like a CAI, short shifter and factory "crash" bolts that make -2.0 degrees of camber. Okay, well maybe the crash bolts aren't so minor.

She's wearing Kumho R-comps in this pic, but you can't really tell. Brake dust on the rims signals another day of autocross carnage.

Well, her car is 100% stock. . . I am still tinkering with mine ->

S2000 is bone stock, no plan on modding it... yet.

The Civic is also bone stock, although there's something starting with an H that'll get in the front wheelwells in the coming weeks. Just so it's not slow as hell.

And the CRX is fully modified, currently awaiting a roll cage. Planned output starts with a 5 this year. Only 40 hp or so to find... :D

Stock - except the alarm system and stereo.

I'm intending to:
1a) Drop it 30mm
or
1b) Change to slightly larger 16" wheels, with correspondingly lower profile tyres, and upgrade the 270mm discs to 300mm discs.
2) Add a supercharger.

OR
3) Save my money and buy an even better NSX than I already plan to.

Stock. No intention of upgrading anything.

I was looking at alloys but it's very difficult to get them to fit. The brake calipers are too near the wheels. I think there's only about 3 or 4 wheels that'll fit straight on without needing spacers etc. Too much hassle and money (Over a grand for a set)

My car is stock, with the exception of ceramic break pads, tint, and a cell phone holder. My 19'' wheels will hopefully be on next week, though, so that will spice things up a bit. :)

My 16+ year old economy car is 99% stock. I view it as something called "stockness royalty", I want to keep it as stock as possible because it stays in excellent condition that way.
The 1% is the catalytic converter which is aftermarket but is a direct replacement for the car. It just happens that one from Mazda costs over $500 and the one I got was like $140. Car sounds exactly the same and everything.
If you mean stockness like how the car shipped out, well, then mine is not. My dad spent a lot of time gathering 323LX and Tracer parts for the 323 when we got the car 13 years ago. There's a list of mods on page 3 of my car domain site...but all of the mods that have been done to it are factory mods like LX wheels and dual horns, and the clock. :)
I've put in the 323 gauge cluster with tach, RX-7 FC 4 lug alloy spare tire, and some small stuff. I plan on doing more...going to the junkyard on Sunday so if I find anything cool like red power mirrors or a red grill I might just buy it. My dad already ruled out adding power windows(he claims that they aren't reliable...), so those will have to wait until he either changes his mind or I take ownership of the car. Ofcourse, I could just get it done without him knowing like I did with the gauge cluster, then he'd be forced to either accept it or change it himself(which wouldn't happen if me and my bro did the job and did it right).

I probably own the most modded stock 323 in the world. hehe.

Clean isn't it?

My truck has a few engine mods and a few stylin mods. Also a stereo system, and its about to be lowered.

Buy NSX please.:D

Stock except for stereo. However, if I can find some way to get the Noble modifications to the Duratec 3.0 into my taurus....well...lets just say...muahahahah.

1983 Volkswagen Rabbit GTI - Right now: Stock snowflake wheels sitting on 195/60-14 Falken Azenis, Neuspeed front upper and lower tie-bars, Autotech rear upper tie bar, Koni Sport shocks with stock springs (Neuspeed Race Springs to come). Engine is a "mostly stock" JH 1.8L 8V with the Euro (g-grind) cam and has ~115k miles on it; the chassis is at 203,+++. Not very heavy (2200 pounds with me, full interior and 1/4 tank of gas) and built to have more fun in the twisties than on the straights.
In the far future: Either a 2L 16V or a 1.8T transplant. Maybe I'll mix the two and turbo the 2L 16V combo

1969 Corvette Stingray - Right now: No engine no gas tank and a partly assembled suspension. 550 pound front coil springs, 360 pound transverse fiberglass rear monospring, KYB shocks, 295/50-15s on all four corners.
In the future: (Like summer 2004) A carbureted LT1/LT4 engine from a 1992-1997 Camaro/Corvette/Firebird with a Viper T56 and 4.56:1 differential gears. Also trying to build a belly pan for better under car aero management.
In the far future: All aluminum, fuel injected LS1/LS2/LS6/LS7 based small-block 427. Can't decide whether or not to turbo/twin turbo/supercharge an engine that could already post over 450 HP without a blower of some kind. Rear 295/50-15s to at least 315/??-18 and fronts down to 275/??-17 (my front 295s rub the sway bar and fenders) *cough* fiberglass *cough* in extreme R and L turns. That's not good.
49/51 Weight bias from the factory; aiming to keep that stat close so it can be a beast on the straights that also pulls more than 1G on the skidpad.

Oh I WILL be buying an NSX. Right now I can happily scratch enough together for a 1991, but I'm leaving it for a couple of years to enjoy this car and I'll hopefully be able to get an early 3.2 instead. If I don't spend anything on my current car I'll still enjoy it and I might be able to go up to a 1999 perhaps.

Good! 👍 Gonna finally get yourself those 19's. You still need to slam that beeotch! ;)

On my car, I have:
  • a fully upgraded sound system
  • larger 18x8 wheels with new sticky rubber
  • HKS Coilovers
  • HKS Hiper exhaust
  • SRT Intake
  • SRT Race A/F ECU

Due to lack of money and where I live, F/I will be postponed indefinately. :(
I'm leaning towards getting sway bars both front and back for now.

Stock exterior.

Performance wise:
B&B 3" catback, RMR 3" downpipe, Buschur intake, Forge Motorsports diverter valve, Works Rally ECU flash

Under the hood I have an RMR carbon fiber sparkplug wire cover, APR carbon fiber radiator shroud, Monster Sport titanium heat shield, and will soon install some Samco radiator hoses which have been sitting here by my computer for quite some time.

Next in line, which won't be for probably another year, will be cams and a turbo kit. I would also like to buy some summer wheels which I may do within the next couple of months. Just don't know which ones yet.

Yeah, I can't wait...I'm really getting excited about them! Next week just can't get here soon enough. :irked: I'm still deciding on tires, though, researching them seems to be all I've done for the past 2 days. Right now I'm leaning for Goodyear Eagle F1's or Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. Here's a picture of my new wheels (Axis Milano, 19x8.5 front/19x9.5 rear) on a silver G35...

Those are pretty sweet. I have also been looking at Axis, and particularly at this model in anthracite with a polished lip:

All I have is:
TEIN HE Coilovers
CUSCO CF Strut Tower Bar (front)
Falken Azenis

As soon as my wallet permits, though:
Gram Lights 57c wheels.
New rotors/pads/lines
RS*R EXMAG Catback (Great performance, but looks stock and sounds about as loud as a stock M3)
HKS Sponge type filter. (Best overall ratings from "Tuning Expert: Young Version" magazine)

Nothing more than that, though, I'm selling my car end of summer '05 to go teach in Japan, where I'll be buying a real JDM Silvia.

How do you like those tires? I've thought about getting myself a set.
Any input would be helpful.
Azenis? I love them. The sidewalls are stiff so they don't roll under, or if they do it takes some extreme cornering. Expect about 10-15k miles out of them in street driving. Take a look around, they can be had (in the 14" size anyway) for under $46 per tire.

60 series are all Falken makes for my 14" wheels. If I had (and I want eventually) 15" wheels, I'd get 195/50-15s. For NASA's GTI Cup ( http://www.nasaproracing.com/proracing/gti.html ) the spec tires are 205/55-14, but those are R compound Toyo Proxes RA-1 tires, wouldn't last very long at all on the street and are expensive to boot.

1980 Lincoln Versailles stock exterior with it's original 302, AFR 185cc aluminum heads, crower cam(soon to be gotten rid of) demon carb (also soon to be rid of)
rebuilt C4 (it's original slipped bad)
and the stock 9" with 3.73 gears.........
everything else stock soon to be blown/tubbed....

also have a 93 Civic VX hatch with the engine out of it...
B16A Ferrea valves Toda egg springs p&p 3 angel valve job typical 4560, darton sleeves stock bore, pistons/rods comp down to 9.7 w/ toda headgasket soon to be boosted with a t3/t04 more than likely...
