I liked RR, i played that one throughly and have beaten it a few times, I dont know why I like it so much, just the atmosphere of the game is great (music, story, the story mode makes u play with a certain car)

yeh ive been a big fan of the arcade racing god, played all of them to completion and had extensive play of all the in arcade versons too, dose anyone know if this is bound for PS3? im guessing namco will be i dont know for sure.

it seemed RR was always the first to get the exotic liscences..
That's why I loved it..

even if it was arcadey..
Driving a Mclaren or Lambo was always great fun...

It reminds me of the first ridge racer game more than anything else. Although to be honest that's exactly the thing i'd want, unlike that crappy RR5 abomination.

I liked racing revolutions the best. and the very first Ridge Racer, not to mention to kickass music it came with on the cdrom that you could play in the CD player.

And I also liked Rage Racer, another PS1 Namco arcade racer.

Aye, it was. That's why you had RR Type 4(best looking racing game on PS1) and the laughable RR V. Man, I really didn't like that one.

I just hope RR6 is more like RRR with better graphics.

You are pretty harsh on RRV . I liked it only becasue it was the only RR game on PS2 & running @ 60fps. THe psp verson is very good and runs at 60fps.

I just hope they dont bring back the grip cars.

Yeah, I know I was. I guess it's cause I'm old school when it comes to RR and I just appreciate the incredibly unrealistic yet fun powersliding and spins and what not. RR4 was pretty good, but RRV and R Racing evolution were just pitiful.

I usually say that if I wanted an XBOX or and XBOX360, I'd love to have any game in the Project Gotham Racing series. But if this is going to be an XBOX360 exclusive, it may be worth putting the money down to buy one. The red car kind of looks like a Ferrari F430 Modena. Is that a bad thing? Not at all. Ridge Racer games (excluding "R: Racing Evolution," which isn't a Ridge Racer game) usually has cars that you kind of have to put together to know what they look like. Like in RRV, the Himmel E.O. looks like a Datsun 240Z with a Porsche rear-end.

Nowadays, it just seems like Namco wants to share their high-speed baby to some other units, like Ridge Racers for the PSP, now you XBOX-heads are going to get some Ridge Racer love for the first time. From what it looks like, if you loved Ridge Racer on the Sony consoles, you should love this one. At least I think. I just want to see those sick drifts on city streets XBOX360 style.

Good to see high detail versions of the cars from the psp game . The pickup is interesting, a little SSR a lil Tacoma a lil SVT lighting
