The car was featured in Best Motoring Vtec Club Edition and raced against stock NSX-R provided by Honda ( driven by Naoki Hattori )

The NSX-R replica has been tuned with the specs above, with weight at 1310kg, I provide 2 power specs, stock GT6 and Dyno Power. Paint can be obtained from Honda NSX Type S '01 ( Platinum White Pearl ), with the wheel uses Advan RGII in white ( the closest design available in GT6 ).

The weight distribution for base is 42/58, while I also provide 2 more, ballast position at 27 for 42.7 / 57.3 or 50 for 41/59 ( the closest it can get to 40/60 while still at 1310kg )

The Kei Office Coilover spring rate is unknown as it was custom tuned by Keiichi Tsuchiya himself, so I decided to use the closest next best thing, the DG-5 Coilover Kit specially made for the NA2 NSX. The Kei Office tuning company was sold in 2005, and Keiichi Tsuchiya formed the new company DG-5.

The DG-5 NA2 NSX Coilover Kit uses 9kg/mm front and 14kg/mm rear ( Swift Springs ), the kit was multi purpose for circuit and drift. The rate has been set, and damper/ARB has been tuned to suit the new ride height and springs. Camber has also been visually replicated with high camber, especially at the rear. The toe values uses the base from NSX-R replica.

LSD also has been set similar to stock NSX-R replica. The NSX-R when driven at the track was fitted with Bridgestone Potenza RE55S ( S tire/semi slick with soft compound ) which may be closer to sports medium.

I tested and tuned the DK NSX-R at Tsukuba and Apricot Hill. I used CS tire as baseline when tuning and it has plenty of grip. At Tsukuba on 290HP, 41/59 distribution and CS tire, it's capable of low 1:04s with ease and at Apricot Hill in 1:36s. The NSX-R should drive well on CS to SM tire.

The Tsukuba lap has been provided via replay.

Update : Added alternative setup with lower front extension for better balance rotation with the lower toe ( halved )

UPDATE July 2016 : Added another/second alternate damper setup for lower toe, the front and rear compression has been increased while still stable enough on the limit. Try this new damper and see which one you prefer. Tested at Suzuka East, good for 58s lap and Tsukuba 1:03s on CS tires.


The DK NSX-R has been updated with 2nd alternative damper for lower toe, may also be used on the original toe.

Notes :

This is an old build of GF-FD3S RX7, Spirit R Type A model. The RX7 final year of production in 2002, the Spirit R Type A is the top of the line limited edition model with all the bells and whistles.

The replica is built using all available infos that I gathered, suspension as the GT6 spring rate can't get low enough, I have to make do with adapted value. Alignment uses OEM Mazda range, with LSD using Torsen setup on the Eifini, but this time I increased the initial torque a little, while also provides 2 additional higher preload/initial as options.

Power is based on JDM Series VIII 280PS rated RX7 dyno, which most cars produced around 310-330PS at the engine, depending on the fuel quality and ambient temp. Different market 280PS rated RX7 with less fuel octane typically hover around 290+-310+PS. Weight uses figure from Best Motoring test at 1313kg, with 48.8 / 51.2 distribution. The power at 320+PS allows the 1999 Series VIII FD3S to be competitive against other JDM sports cars in that era, from NSX Type S Zero, Evo VI, WRX, JZA80 Supra RZ, to R34 GTR. At Tsukuba, it managed 1:04s lap time driven by Keiichi Tsuchiya, a remarkable time for FR sports car with officially 280PS power :D I have used the lap record on board cam video as reference, the lap time for another replica, the 1999 RX7 Type RS is very close, from braking point, cornering speed, shift points :)

The Spirit R Type A is a full optioned RX7 RS/RZ, top of the line model with 280PS rated 13B-REW engine. Mechanically, the Spirit R type A is similar to Series VIII Type RS, including the adjustable rear wing with 4 angle of attack, 17" wheels with wider tread ( 235 front and 255 rear ), employing Bridgestone Potenza / Expedia S07 tires ( CS in GT6 ).


There are 4 aero preset provided in this build, with 75 as base representing 14.5 deg angle ( max possible of real car ) The aero effect can easily be felt at Rome, drive it there, try the 0 rear Aero ( 1 deg angle ), notice how the car squirm under braking and how it handle around mid speed corners. Try the 25 and 58 rear aero as well if you are interested, they may suit you better if 75 is too much.

Base LSD uses initial at 7, this gives great balance, but higher initial 14 and 18 also can be used, try them and see which fits you best, but the base 7 is highly recommended.

The replica was tested at Tsukuba, Matterhorn Short, Apricot Hill Reverse and Rome. At Tsukuba, it managed 1:03s lap on CS, aero base at 75 ( 14.5 deg ) and BM weight 1313kg, while at Matterhorn Short 29s on CH, and Rome, 1:20s on CS ( faster than the Amuse Z33 LightWeight :eek: )

Hi, with AE86 you list semi racing zorst but i am guessing its racing since semi is standard? btw the touge damper is awesome around bathurst,much easier to control slides easy 2:37`s (CS, no ABS) with lots of sideways action included.

Notes :
C7R, the latest Corvette race car, based on very limited information from press release and preview, I made this early version replica. Specs of the real car only mention it has the same engine size as C6R with improved fuel economy and improved chassis rigidity as well as aerodynamics.

I used whatever power figure on NO oil change C7 with racing exhaust and exhaust manifold to give slight boost of torque over real C6R figure. 510HP and 492+ torque, with similar weight as C6R at 1245kg and 51/49 weight distribution.

Suspension has been tweaked for optimum balance with flat floor installed, the car drives relatively easy with excellent grip. Spring are stiff at 17kg/18.5kg for racing tire fitment and flat floor.

LSD is 1.5 way, giving great turn in response and good traction on exit.

The car was tuned and tested at Tsukuba, Silverstone GP, Bathurst and Nordschleife.

It is so well balanced, it really fells like a C7.R GT PRO. I drive it a lot, both in career mode, arcade mode, time trial, and free run. Only wish we could have this in GT6:(.
Second; I have been collecting true life data, both from the internet, and from a very reliable source, from a guy born in Denmark 4th July 1973, ("guess who"):). Honestly Ridox, I'm not trying to quote or give your tune any down sampling, in any area, I hope you know that, I'm only letting you know what can be adjusted in a positive way:cheers:.
The horse power is restricted by FIA to be at 500 HP.
There are no Exhaust Manifold on this car.
Use Intake Tuning instead, "it's mounted on the real car".
Turn Power Limiter to 95.3%
Weight Distribution is 49%/51%
Turn Ballast Position to 50%, instead of -50%.
Rear downforce is at 0.4 on the real car, it is not possible in GT6, use 5 level.
Ride height on the real car is 60mm front, 65mm rear. It is not possible in GT6, I have used the double amount calculation, 120mm front, 125mm rear, or 90mm front, 95mm rear.
Spring rate on the real car is; 23.00kg front, 11.00kg rear (230N/mm - 110N/mm) it is not possible in GT6, I used your front spring rate at 17.00kg, and use 11.00kg at the rear.

The horse power is restricted by FIA to be at 500 HP.
There are no Exhaust Manifold on this car.
Use Intake Tuning instead, "it's mounted on the real car".
Turn Power Limiter to 95.3%
Weight Distribution is 49%/51%
Turn Ballast Position to 50%, instead of -50%.
Rear downforce is at 0.4 on the real car, it is not possible in GT6, use 5 level.
Ride height on the real car is 60mm front, 65mm rear. It is not possible in GT6, I have used the double amount calculation, 120mm front, 125mm rear, or 90mm front, 95mm rear.
Spring rate on the real car is; 23.00kg front, 11.00kg rear (230N/mm - 110N/mm) it is not possible in GT6, I used your front spring rate at 17.00kg, and use 11.00kg at the rear.

Notes :
C7R, the latest Corvette race car, based on very limited information from press release and preview, I made this early version replica. Specs of the real car only mention it has the same engine size as C6R with improved fuel economy and improved chassis rigidity as well as aerodynamics.

I used whatever power figure on NO oil change C7 with racing exhaust and exhaust manifold to give slight boost of torque over real C6R figure. 510HP and 492+ torque, with similar weight as C6R at 1245kg and 51/49 weight distribution.

Suspension has been tweaked for optimum balance with flat floor installed, the car drives relatively easy with excellent grip. Spring are stiff at 17kg/18.5kg for racing tire fitment and flat floor.

LSD is 1.5 way, giving great turn in response and good traction on exit.

The car was tuned and tested at Tsukuba, Silverstone GP, Bathurst and Nordschleife.

Simple replica made long time ago, SP1 base on F430, I used F430 Scuderia power, adding exhaust manifold to bump it to 504HP.

Gear left as is, and suspension uses F430 springs adapted ( non Scuderia ) for comfort oriented build. Front damper extension at 2 is optional, as well as higher ride height for bumpy track or when fitting high grip tires like SM or SS.

Tested at Apricot Hill Reverse, drove well there on CS tire, use CM or CS for realistic grip level on OEM tires.

Notes :


This is a simple replica build of a stock BCNR33 GTR Vspec, the Vspec is the top of the range R33 GTR with stiffer suspension and A-LSD coupled with improved ATTESA-ETS PRO. In real life R33 GTR Vspec has been dynoed with reports of around 325HP/ 330PS to 329HP/330+PS at the engine. The power at 325HP/329HP is base spec with optional stock GT6 power as optional.

The Vspec suspension spring rates of the real car 4.00 kg/mm front and 5.00 kg/mm rear. The spring rate can be set in GT6, with damper and ARB tuned for slight oversteer. The stock factory alignment has been used for the base suspension. A higher camber setup is optional ( use the available camber range )

The car weight is 1540kg, with weight distribution using real life spec at 56/44, and both has been replicated. This should give the close to neutral balance of the real car and oversteer when pushed hard.

LSD is set in 2 way this time, with setup giving good amount of lock and low preload. An alternate LSD with 1.5 way arrangement also provided, the 1.5 way will give much more freedom in turn in under braking.

Tire base set is comfort soft with aim to set performance against real life Tsukuba lap record which are 1:05.88 in 1995 and 1:05.73 in 1997. These times were noted in the Best Motoring videos having R33 GTR Vspec with "race" setting. The Nissan or BM crew highly likely tuned the ATTESA-ETS PRO CPU, suspension, track alignment, better brake pads, but keep the engine on stock power. The lap time performance is closer to NSX S Zero in 1997, also in 1:05s.
In GT6, the time can achieved with comfort soft tire with near perfect lap just like the real life 1:05.73 lap did, perfection at the limit. The highlight was the Tsukuba last turn, with the R33 dive late in the middle line, seemingly going under for a split second, but race alignment and the ATTESA-ETS PRO allow the car to rotate with slight oversteer giving the driver ability to full throttle to finish line. This is the result optimized tune mentioned as 'Race' setting in BM.

The slower R33 GTR times that were done on totally stock R33 GTR were in 1:07-1:08s range, 1:07.09 and 1:08.59. This should be with comfort medium.

The R33 was mainly tested and tuned at Tsukuba. The replay of the lap at 1:05s has been included, the lap was done with 325HP spec to match the real lap acceleration/speed/RPM at braking entry and exit. Suspension uses base set and 2 way LSD.

UPDATE : Added optional ARB for better stability mid corner to exit, tested at Spa.

UPDATE August 2016 : Updated the damper and now uses 3/2 ARB as base, the original damper/ARB still available as option. Tested at Motegi East race intermediate seasonal.
Power specs have been updated for Dyno Power, added 329HP figure, changed power part from catalytic converter sports to isometric exhaust manifold to keep stock redline intact.

The BNR32 GTR VSpec II released in 1994 was the last changes made to the R32 GTR Skyline, made to commemorate the 4th consecutive Gr-A victories, the Vspec stands for Victory Spec. The previous Vspec ( version 1 ) was already an improvement to the original R32 GTR. A short summary of the changes :

Vspec II production number at 1,303 cars. The Vspec II has numerous mechanical changes compared to the stock R32. With 17in BBS wheels specially made for the car, wider 245 sticky tires, in addition to the 1st version of Vspec which include Brembo brakes, ATTESA-ETS PRO, Active LSD at the rear, lower suspension and stiffer damper tune. There has been reports of higher engine torque output.

The Vspec suspension spring rates of the real car 2.4kg/mm front and 2.7kg/mm rear. These values are too low in GT6, so I used the lowest at the front possible, and use the ratio to set the rear rate. The rate used are 3.83 / 4.31, with the damper tuned to provide fast response and good rotation on exit. The alternate damper is included with has softer rear damper to give different handling. Camber and toe also available in 2 set, one is the base and higher camber/toe is optional.

The car weight is 1500kg, with weight distribution using real life corner weights of Vspec II, at 59.4/40.6, this is the closest in GT6 can get with weight reduction stage 2 and 195kg ballast the front end. This should give the mild understeer traits of the real car and oversteer when pushed hard. Most R32 GTR has closer to 60/40 distribution, with R33 and R34 improving with less heavier front.

LSD is set in 2 way this time, with setup giving good amount of lock and low preload. An alternate LSD with 1.5 way arrangement also provided.

Tire base set is rear comfort medium and front comfort soft, while all around comfort soft is optional. I intentionally set the rear with comfort medium to give distinct handling characteristics of the real car, with oversteer tendency on the limit due to the different ATTESA-ETS PRO programming in the Vspec.

The R32 was mainly tested and tuned at Tsukuba and Apricot Hill. The real life record at Tsukuba was done in 1994, driven by Keiichi Tsuchiya, the R32 GTR Vspec II was capable of 1:06.77 lap time. The replica with High Camber suspension and 2 way LSD is capable of low 1:06s on CM/CS tire. While at Apricot Hill on Street Camber and 2 way LSD, CM/CS tire, 1:38s. Both replay has been included.


UPDATE : New Damper and stock LSD added as base, old damper still available as option.

UPDATE August 2016 : New Damper have been updated, the original new damper still available as option. The update was tested at Motegi East race intermediate seasonal.
Added additional specs with Dyno Power of stock R32 GTR with some miles ( about 50k km ), 320HP at flywheel using intake tuning.

Both have been updated, power specs, damper and ARB. Tested them at intermediate Motegi East Race, on CS, easily win even with GT6 power. Highly recommend to take these legendary Skylines to the Motegi Race and enjoy :D

I built the replicas based on JUN infos and another car data used for track with mild weight reduction.

Suspension use Endless Zeal Function X Hard Spec with X Coil Springs. Spring rate set at 10k/9k.
Using my experience with Tein SRC BRZ and Amuse GT86 builds, I set the damper with neutral balance in mind. While alignment and ride height uses another test car specs which should give the car distinct feel and handing. I have also provided low camber setup as well as variety damper sets recommended for certain tires. The optional higher ride height is set at 122/124, should be used when needed at bumpy tracks.

Weight set at modest 1176kg, a healthy 50+kg diet easily achievable IRL for track session purposes. The weight distribution has been set using real life corner weight of the car with 1176kg weight. At 56.9 /43.1 distribution, reflected in ballast position.

For power and torque, to reach the same spec, I used extensive power upgrades in GT6, and oil change to achieve very close torque number 35.7kgf-m or 258ft lb.

As the real car only has mild modification, the LSD, transmission, and drivetrain parts are stock. The tire used IRL is Advan Neova AD08R ( soft compound ) with bigger size and contact patch at 255/35/R18, this is similar to Sports Medium in GT6. The replica can still be driven with comfort soft with ease, managing 1:05s at Tsukuba.

I tuned and tested the car both online and offline, Tsukuba, Willow Springs and Red Bull Ring ( both ). With SM tire at Red Bull Ring Short, it can easily lap in 57s range, a very quick time for 470PP car and only suspension tweak.

UPDATE August 2016 : Added new Damper/ARB setup as base, with lower rear ARB and lower front extension. The old base are still available with respective optional dampers. Tested at Intermediate seasonal race at Motegi East.

2016 Nissan NISMO GTR replica built with power spec from stock NISMO GTR 2016 dyno, on stock 15.2 Psi of boost, stock mapping and about 93 octane fuel, 505 wheel HP on Powerdyne ( Mustang Dyno - usually about 10% lower than other dyno readings like DynoJet ) and 542 wheel HP on Dyno Log, calculated around 654HP engine. More can be had with better fuel like in Japanese domestic NISMO GTR with 95+ octane / 100 RON fuel, :eek: This is why a stock NISMO GTR could pull 2.xxs 0-100 kmh and high 10s 0-400m ( quarter mile ) on full weight ( fuel/driver )

Suspension uses previously posted Ohlins kit for N-Attack NISMO GTR, but this time, I improved the damper and ARB setup.
The base GT6 weight 1730kg uses weight reduction stage 1 with max ballast, while the heaviest running weight uses only window weight reduction.

Tested online ( with tire wear/fuel consumption at normal ) at Red Bull Ring, 1:43s on full fuel load CS tire and Tsukuba 1:01s ( full fuel ) CS. Also tested offline with CS tire at SSR X for drag time performance, 0-100 kmh in high 2s and 0-400m in high 10s, pretty close to real stock NISMO GTR drag performance.

I gave Dori Dori's NSX-R a run out at Tsukuba and Sierra with the new dampers. Normal service is resumed...couldn't touch your 1:03s :lol: I did a few 5 lap runs originally with the reduced toe and original damper settings for a low 1:05, a mid 1:05 with the new damper and lower toe and finally a 1:04.7 with the new dampers and original toe. With the lower toe and new dampers, I did find the car easier to control mid-corner to exit. But I have to say with the updated dampers and original toe the car just felt more to my liking. A little less forgiving of mistakes, but I felt it was easier to place in the corners and made less mistakes due to this :). I also prefer that combo for carving up Sierras twisty bits :DAn awesome ride just got better, super job :cheers:

Call that an easy win !? :odd: Would have been if I didn't keep running into rolling roadblocks in the chicanes :lol: New dampers and ARBs worked very well here with both sets of alignment specs. The car felt far more fluid than the damper set-up I was already running (original set recommended for SM tyre.). Better under braking too 👍

Special build RX7 Spirit R at 500PP and 550PP, tuned on SH tires, should drive well from CS to SS tires. Using adapted setup from FEED / Fujita Engineering RX7 TOuge Battle car, this build offers decent balance and exciting handling car around the tight tracks.

Tested at Brands Hatch GP, on 500PP and SH tires, capable of 1:36s lap time with ease.
Great tune, works great on all tyres, managed a 2:10.4 around bathurst 550pp ss tyre with stock trans and standard brakes,no ABS. It will easily do 2:09`s with ABS and race brakes but i think the ABS ruins the feel of the car.

Steering sensitivity at +1 or +2, all aids off, except ABS 1 ( if not comfortable with ABS 0 ) with 5/5 brake balance as starting point.


Notes :

The replica is largely based on the NA S2000 Amuse Touge Monster, I added more ballast to get 49/51 distribution ( dry weight 1120kg + fuel and driver ) and bring it to 1210kg.

Certain sources said about R34 rear end and HKS 6 speed sequential used on the car. I used HKS 6 speed Type II for R34 GTR, while the 7th gear uses stock ratio. Final gear have several options, R34 stock final, 3.545, R33/32 Final 4.111 and stock box final 4.952.

The car is elusive, some said the GT1 Turbo is customer specific build, while GT6 GT1 Turbo is PD own rendition in specs ( the power and 7 speed gearbox ). Amuse own statement, the stroked engine and turbo is good for 550+PS ( most likely wheel HP as Amuse uses Dynapack ) which will give 605 PS at flywheel/engine. The 7th gear will rarely be used maybe never :), so the 6 speed is effectively usable like the real customer car with HKS 6 speed from R34 GTR.

Anyway, the car should be good enough on CS, I tested with HKS R34 gearbox, 3.545 final, CS tire at Apricot Hill Reverse, it did 1:30s easily. Also tested at Brands Hatch GP, 1:37s on CS + 3.5 front camber, and 1:30s on SS + 2.5 front camber with ease.

UPDATE : Added ATS Carbon LSD, forgot to included it as it was fitted on customer car to compliment the HKS R34 GTR driveline.

I will dedicate my next 2 R35 GTR replica to @TurnLeft, he passed away in June 5th 2016, I only got the news recently :(

Can't say for sure but he did love his V6 Subaru Outback. He was always singing it's praises. So much so I was almost convinced he was on commission :lol:.

I'm afraid it's none of the above Alb. The closest thing to it in GT6 is the Legacy Touring wagon.
