Never thought he'd be the next guy on his way to the great racetrack in the sky, I'm pretty sure he'd mostly recovered from his chemo earlier in the year which makes it a real downer.
RIP Jason, he was a fighter and he didn't let his condition stop him from racing. He was as courageous as anyone the way he came back and won races and even did excellent in his V8 return. A great loss to the whole motorsport community and society ....
RIP, mate. This is a really sad day. He was one of my favourite drivers, a great too, he deserved to get a Bathurst win but no, this is just wrong, he didn't deserve this. I have no more to say.
EDIT: It's taken me 5 and a half hours to be able to finally express words on this.
This has been a dark year in motorsport, it's horrific and heart breaking to see Jason leave us so soon. This loss has definitely hit hardest, Rest In Peace, Jase. Love to Jason's family, friends, supporters and his fans, and I wish you enjoy your time in the afterlife, or the next one.
As much as I didn't like to admit it, the writing was on the wall for me at Sandown when he pretty much said the experimental drugs had failed and that the cancer had spread to his bones.
So sad. Top all round guy. This close to christmas aswell
