It's so hard to control the wheel at 300+mph around the corners, the force feedback is ridiculous lol

The first time i went round in the X2011 and yeah my T500 RS just about snapped my wrists. But you get used to it and have to catch it not let the wheel flick around.

Yeah I was like holy crap this feedback is too strong.

For those saying its boring, try dirty racing on it with veyrons and everyone has mics. Its like playing mario kart. Same goes for daytona oval.

That sounds like fun

Dirty shuffle races on route X, best thing ever! So many polite people and the races are incredibly intense.

Yeah, haters be hating.
Somehow I think all the naysayers (yawn - I mean why even post if all you're going to say is "it's boring"?) haven't actually tried good online racing with this track.
You all sound like a bad joke that's been run into the ground given the amount of fun that's being had on Rt. X.
Seriously, just for the sake of everyone else here who IS loving the addition of this track and the fun of racing it, try it out one more time, online. Please? You might be pleasantly surprised. I was.
Although I wasn't as excited about this track as I was for Spa initially (it's an oval for goodness sake), after racing it in various cars online I have had some of the most fun I've had in GT5 in a long time.
Sure it ultimately may not be your cup of tea but it definitely deserves a second chance from those of you who have dismissed it.
Just my 2 cents!

Yeah me and some of my friends made rooms on this track... 150mph minimal/2 way/ middle lane for pass. Well when i went into the room, i plugged in my wheel and loaded up my ipod. Before i new it i was in there for about 2 hours

oh so true. just another oval track. go straight, turn right, go straight, turn right, i made the mistake and bought dlc. been on that track once and dont plan on going back

Boring?! That must be some strong stuff you guys are smokin'! :sly:

^What caused the crash. A sudden turn perhaps.

So what you guys are saying is to make this track fun you have to race dirty and crash into each other in a straight line?

Yeah I think ill pass and stick to proper, mature racing on proper race circuits.

I don't like Oval track and I hate long straight but what sets this track apart is its surrounding. Had it a real race course- spectator stands, grassy infield, it definitely would've been boring to me. The highlight for me. though, is watching the replay after I've driven my Aventador around the course- it left me rather speechless afterward.

It's surrounded by what appears to be glass and the scenery is far to spread out and bulky. Was suprised to see no fireworks. Anyway, the track itself wasn't worth whatever they asked for it. Speed Test was an interesting feature, but I do agree with previous posters that they could of added more tests like Skidpad and Slaloms as well.

Currently setting up a 5 lap endurance race using Samabuses :D

With all the due respect this track and what you do in this track has nothing to do with "The Real Driving Simulator" thing. That X2010 madness could be fun for Arcade Casual players not for Sim Racers.

I believe if you are a real sim racer the PC is best for that no?

Yes but PD claimed something on their cover.

I agree... GT5 is made to cater many markets (a la Forza) but iRacing and rFactor is made just for the Sim Racing fanatics.. Which is why Route X works on GT5 in my opinion.

Seriously, I just spent 5 hours doing Extreme NASCAR events on there will some IRL friends in an online lobby. With boost turned up to full and slip-stream at maximum and collisions encouraged, it practically redefined the definition of "fun". 👍

At first I loved Route X for scenery and night-day change, now it's jumped straight into my top3 circuits in-game in terms of fun...and it's a freakin' oval.

Anybody else had awesome online experiences on Route X?
i did a single player race like that. and OMG it was awsome. Two car drafting a BIG one. just makes me wish we had a More Divrise field. (pushed the 88 as the 88 it was madness!)

ever hear of the term "Rubbing is racing"?

Don't bother with Simon, he has a permanent chip on his shoulder.

Ok, maybe that pic is a bad example so here's another:

^Tight, clean, pack slipstream racing. 'Nuff said. No, it's not the kind of thing you'll be doing on the Ring or Spa, that's understood and agreed. It's different, and it's fun.

You all sound like Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. I swear. And it's a beautiful day. New diverse content for GT5! Yay!

Don't try writing me off as one of those kids who likes to drive backwards on Indy in a Tank car, either. I'm pushing 40 and have been a hardcore GT player since the dawn of.

Put your money where your mouth is and take your own X2011 Prototype online for a Rt. X race (especially with a wheel!) and tell me that's not fun or doesn't involve skill. If Route X is no good for racing, Aerton Senna's my mom.

Awesome Picture. 👍

And don't worry he's part of the undermine just about everything GT syndicate that exists. It's funny seeing their "pseudo" trolling everywhere.

I won my 2nd EVER online race there, earlier tonight in a RUF.

I just took my Ford GT around the track for the first time and I have to say what a great track this is, especially at night all lit up, sure it's no Nurburgring, but a great track nonetheless, oh and it's much better than that crappy SSR7.

It's a good track. Not the best thing since sliced bread, but definitely better than Test Course. R.I.P.: Test Course.

At night, the track is so alive. The blue lights in the first few minutes of the oval are stunning. Great for photomode!
