Rubber Band Trick Doesn't Work

Hey. I have tried the Super Speedway rubber band trick many a time, and it never works--- because my car always hits the wall then is deflected into the pit.


What gives!?

You need 2 rubber bands
one band to hold down the gas (use a penny over the button for better contact)
one band to hold the steering to the RIGHT about halfway.

You will bounce around the speedway, but still run 32 second laps or so, and kick ass. (use the escudo on hard tires)

You can also change the controls for the game in the options. Put the acceleration on the left analog and you only need one rubberband.

why dont ya just play the race..isnt that long..u buy the game to put a rubberband on the control and leave it, or to play the races????

It is long, It's an hour of going around in a circle. The "Rubber Band Trick" allows your controller to be set to race the track with out you paying attention. So you can start it, watch Star Trek or Friends or what ever, and after an hour you have won a car.

The Superspeedway endurance isn't a race, it is a chore, and the rubber band trick just makes it easier. Who wants to complete it the hard way more than once, in an attempt to get an F1 car?

Actually I did the Super Speedway enduro twice and won the F090/S both times. I did the rubber band trick on the second time around it works!

WOW, every race I have entered (all 6 of them) I have only won a Tureno and a Miata.

Some people have better things to do for an hour than race this boring POS, but we're not debating the morality or fun factor, just the practical application...

While it striclty wouldn't be the rubber band trick anymore, this works easier with a wheel. Jam the gas pedal down, take out the power lead (what do u mean ur not using the GT force wheel ) thus stopping the force feedback kicking in when u hit the wall, my scud has clocked 29-35 seconds with this set up depending if the opposition get in its way.

I'd also have to agree this race would define boredom (i have yet to do the Miata enduro so my opinion could change ) i have won this race 5 times and only "done" it once

I haven't done this race yet but I imagine that I'll race it once, and then resort to this trick
