RVT - Red Venom Tuning
High Performance Specialists - Inject The Venom

Welcome, the new kid on the block is here, and here to stay. RVT is set up to provide fast, lightweight cars that will corner quickly, in expense for straight line speed (if that sacrifice must be made). However, there will be a couple of specials thrown in there to, these special will include our superlight weight Touge special and Daytona 750 special. The cars are generally made for most to be able to drive, however some cars aren't for the beginner, such as the obvious like my Viper SRT10 Coupe 600 will be much harder to use then say an F430 in the same class. Cars which are less obvious will be marked with a 'NFB' (Not For Beginners) tag so people know to avoid the car if they're not to skilled behind the wheel (yet)

Reviews and feedback will be highly appreciated as long as it is constructive.

Cars will be sorted into classes, all vehicles are tuned and driven on Pro physics, all driving aids off accept ABS which is optional but should be used at 1 or 0). If ABS is set to off, brakes should be adjusted accordingly by reducing values to 6 or below. (ie if the settings are 7F 10R, change it to 3F 6R). Anyway, enough talking, here are the cars, some are tuned more extensively then others, bare this in mind when comparing one car to the next.

Strap yourself in, it's time to Inject The Venom into your car collection.

Description
Project Titan, given it's name as it's been the longest running tune I've done, weeks were spent on making this car for myself, and now it can play with the big boys in the 750 class, thus gaining its project name.
It's obvious from the outset this car was made for one thing, speed, and that theme has never been lost in my vision, but i specialise in lighter less powerful cars that handle better at the cost of reduced straight line grunt. This was the code i followed when creating this, things have drastically changed in the suspension to improve handling and hopefully make the car more drivable. This is the car I'm most proud of currently, which is why its been released first as it's the best display of RVT's potential. Anyway here goes.
Now adjusted to fit under the new update, this car runs well on Fuji in its natural state so many settings remain unchanged. Gearing now adjusted to 6 speed set up, 7th has been set incase of a return to Fuji or lots of slipstreaming, it may seem like you're low in the revs each gear, and thats where you want to be if you check the power/torque graph. Launch in 2nd then use 3rd on hairpins for maximum traction and acceleration.

What? No pictures? Well I can't decide without the pictures.:P

Hey, I read you have a touge special coming up. I have a mate back in GT4 who specialised in touge. I wanted to do a tribute car to his garage as he won't be getting GT5 for a looong time. So what say you to a touge battle? In the future of course.

We'll have to look into it, though the special is just more of a technical exercise which i limited to the 600PP rules to give me a sort of aim rather then maxxing it.

Added a picture, happy now????

Dodge Viper RVT10 Coupe
600PP - Power: 414PS - Torque: 509ft-lbs - Weight: 1330KG

Description
The RVT10, built in the run up to the recent tuner showdown as a test car for myself, i quickly found this tune was something special, being the first car (possibly only) of the Viper field, which managed a 1:52.xxx, although only once, around Fuji 600. Driver or car, either way the RVT10 is a force to be reckoned with. Not the fastest car in class, particularly on Suzuka, but the traction this manages is phenomenal for a car with no downforce.
However, it's this snake carries a deadly bite, be careful not to push the limits to hard or you could be punished severely, a trait carried by all the Vipers since the R/T was released by Dodge.
Notes: Once moving, keep the car in 3rd gear or above 95% of the time as the low down torque of this V10 beast means being in the low revs gives great acceleration with little drama, particularly on Fuji, the 1:52.xxx was all 3rd gear and above.

Come on, a touge battle on Eiger could be very fun. We would need some un-biased drivers, and do it time trial style. As touge roughly is.

Very.:D

Looks great anyway. It's defo either emerald boa or green tree python. Either way - they're both constrictors (no venom)

just sayin :sly:

Chevrolet Corvette/Tuned
750PP Daytona Special - Power: 630PS - Torque: 536ft-lbs - Weight: 1299KG

Description
This car is strictly Daytona Speedway only, made just to see what I could do on the legendary home of the 500. The Corvette is one of the common cars on Daytona, but you'll rarely find one that runs under 46 seconds a lap in free run. First thing you notice is the staggered tires, because of the speeds involved at Daytona, the rear tires have less impact on corner speed as long as you still have the rear in check. This is because of the huge downforce levels achieved on Daytona. Using rear R1s freed up some more points for power, the key to victory on Daytona so you can fly out that turn and zoom past most opposition. The engines are roaring, 'Lets go racing boys!'.
Notes: Drive in 4th gear all the way round, 5th is your overtaking gear. As for corners, this car can run high or low, it's up to you, the lap times are not affected much regardless. The high line is obviously harder to run though, so beginners stick not to far from the yellow inside line.

Outstanding tune that suits me down to the ground Dragon....... i lapped Suzuka earlier in a 2.03.6 which is an all time record for me around there. The GT1 has superb manners and is quite well behaved even when i managed to get it out of shape. Thanks again for a great Setup.

You're welcome, thats what i'm here for :)

A Daytona tuned Corvette? It sounds inetresting, but why the long gears if you don't mind my asking? I might give it a go.;)

Didn't I say I might review another garage's car not long ago? Who was that, L-Tune? Oh don't mind me I'm just typing my thoughts out loud.:P

Because 6th can't be tuned to give you as much power as using 4th and 5th one after another like mine now does giving you that overtaking gear. Otherwise its have sixth at about 225mph off the top of my head, then next one at 160.

Hi, I have just tried your Project Titan tune on free run. Wow, this is a cracking tune! The car feels so stable and nimble, Fast and the grip is amazing. :) Probably because I am used to S2 tyres. I think I have just found my car of choice for the Saturday 7th June 750pp event taking place at Suzuka. Good tuning skills there mate. I like it a lot. 👍

Very good Tune for me too... I already have one but yours is fast too.

Managed a 2.02.4 on my second lap free run 👍

Very nice Daytona Corvette setup. Just did 15 laps in free run and did 3 sub 46 second laps at the end, best was 45.918.

I've always told everyone its an under 46 second car :) Nice job, dangerously close to beating my own best lap in it

Thanks for the feedback both you (Sinsemila) and everyone else :)

Ferrari 599RVT
600PP Fuji - Power: 494PS - Torque: 426ft-lbs - Weight: 1532KG - NFB

Description
Made for the Ferrari Festival, this car turned out to be unusually competitive for such a heavy beast, more of a fun car thats been slightly tamed but kept fun. Which is why it's been 'awarded' the NFB tag, with much more power then most cars in its class, this thing flies down the long straight of Fuji and will outdrag almost any car on it when fighting for that final position before you cross the line. Invaluable at times when I took victory on the final straight with ease against a F430. The thing that makes me enjoy this car the most though, is the sound, start that glorious V12 up and get ready for one of the best sounds you can here on GT5P
Notes: Careful on the throttle with this one, to early and you'll spin those tires up alot. Remember this is big heavy car, so be aware of the weight it carries when hitting the brakes and turning.

Thanks Drangon!!! I was waiting for this very moment for a tuned 599. Wow I am gonna give a try right now and give a quick impression on it. Thanks mate. Looking at some of the things you did to it...it looks like it's gonna be fun, just the way I like it. Drive fast and be steady! :P

Dragon.....just out of curiosity, any projects you working on has possibly one of the few cars in this game that nobody bothers ever tuning or cares as much as I do.... SL 55 AMG? I would love a tune for this car...I've tried several ones with it but it's still no perfect. I am aiming for either 600pp or 650pp.....I would love if you did a tune for this monster! Thanks mate.

Ahh the AMG wobble-mobile , a funny monster when you hang the tail out to find the car wobbles as it slides. The problem with the AMG is the gearbox isn't customisable, and i hate that gearbox. I may give it a shot i do have a very quick set up done on my one. It's never going to compete at the top level of 600PP on Suzuka at least. Fuji maybe but the brakes are useless to. I'll experiment and maybe post a kinda half tuned version of it.

What kind of lap times are you hoping for from the AMG? Suzuka wise

I tried the AMG, but as already stated above, the gearbox blows. And it feels like you're riding a boat instead of a car. I doubt you can get it to perform in an acceptable way. It's good for cruising, but not for racing. :D

Yea, i can only runs sort of 2:21 - 2:22 with it. Understeer is the overriding characteristic and i just can't cure it fully.
