Hoping the tire wear & fuel consumption isn't indicative of what we will see in the future endurance events.
Had to fill the tank after 20 miles racing, something like 2.4 mpg.

The fuel/tire wear scales with the race, so the longer the race, the more MPG you will get.

On another note: Just did the Le Mans 24 minute race, and won quite smoothly with a 2J. I kinda forgot that the 2J didn't have headlight when dusk came, but I just went with it. I had to use the map exclusively for navigation for a few laps, but it went suprisingly well. Ended up winning by 26 seconds, and I had to pit twice. High RPM turbo and RH tires all the way.

S4 and S5 are definitely the hardest license tests in the game, and its not close. I only got bronze on these after some effort, so there are probably people better at this than I am.

Generally: Pay close attention to the difference between blue (accelerate) and gray (don't accelerate) colors on the driving line.

Lambo - Try braking a bit later going into the turns. The AI and driving line seem to overestimate the time/distance needed to brake for all but the tightest of turns in good conditions. Most of the non 180 degree turns can be handled by starting to brake about a third to half of the way into the red braking zone.

Veyron - Same advice as the Lambo, but there are many very tight turns that you'll have to brake fully on. You can save a couple of seconds by hitting the chicane just after the start just right, but be prepared for a lot of DQs. You shouldn't have to brake too heavily on the 1st and second turns of the long section right before the section with the back to back tight chicanes. This one will likely take a while, as the Veyron is a very fast brick.

I had best luck with the Veyron by braking a bit early - usually about 10-15' before the braking zone indicated on the driving line. That gave the car time to slow and "settle" back on its suspension to get set up for the turns. Some cars can brake very late into the turns, but the Veyron doesn't seem to be one of them! :D

After a lot of DQs, I just slowed it way down and puttered around the course a few times to get the feel and flow of it, and then started building speed until I bronzed it. Very frustrating to come in "out of time" by 0.12 seconds, though.

Any chance that someone show me right setup for that LCC Rocket ? I tried it on normal car events and It was easy win but then I was trying the Silverstone event and it failed for me. I was 13/16 on last lap. (DS3 User)

At willow I keep going back to the ACR Viper /sport exhaust and suspension. 598 pp I think

When I ran it yesterday I missed (forgot) the pit after the 4th lap. Surprise, the tires made it. Then ran 3.

Usually do 4 and 4 with rear tires on 3 or 4 at end.
Running that 5 and 3 wasn't so bad.

I can confirm that using LCC Rocket tuned to 650 for Normal cars event with 650PP and Deltawing for Racing cars with 650PP is very effective. Both these cars are very easy to handle and they are easy on tires and fuel so any new or casual players can finish these races with no pit stop. For 750PP I've tried Peugeot 908 Hdi and 24 Minutes of LeMans Davide's28 tips for R18 with HRPM turbo kit and pit stops. So far at the end of 3rd lap I've ran out of fuel but I was able to make it to pit stop with -28 seconds to leader doing exactly same thing as written by Davide I've managed to catch leader after second stop in pits at 7th lap and win with 5 seconds on 2nd. I think that without turbo I would done it better and make it to the pits in the end of the 3rd lap no problem.

I've done the Willowsprings, Brands Hatch, and Nurburgring one so far. All surprisingly easy once you understand how to do it.

Which is: I use the FXX, I assume other cars would work the same. I keep it usually under 6000 RPM and I am very gentle with the throttle and usually never more than half throttle. You just need to cruise around the track.

Willow I used Sport: Hards (I think?) Brands I used Racing: Hards and Nurburgring I used Racing Intermediates. I did both Willow and Brands without pitting. Nurburgring went for about 3 laps, which I pitted for Fuel but probably could have gone entire thing on one tank.

The AI pits fairly often which is why the trick is just to not pit as much or at all.
You are correct on all points regarding you post and especially the Nurburgring as I did it with the Audi R18 with Racing Hard and never made a pit stop to win the race. I don’t have an FXX but I think you would not have run out of fuel as I short shifted and was easy on the throttle to the end. Like you said just “cruising around”. I was in the lead before the end of the first lap before the long straightaway. Thank you for posting as it was a great help
