Garou Valence JZ 3.3 (8BB) '97

Garou developed the Valence in 1983 as the competitor to Zenshi's Axia and Suzuka's MSE. Key highlights of the Valence included a light body and standard All-Wheel Drive (AWD).

The Third-Generation Valence was released in 1995, using a modified variant of the previous generation's platform, called the 8BB. The bodywork was smoothed out more and larger, making the Valence look more luxurious than before.

In 1997, Garou dropped the F31GA V6 in favor of the newly developed G33DVE Flat-6 engine. The JZ variant of the Valence featured twin turbochargers on the 3.3L Flat-6, boasting a great amount of torque. In order for the Valence to accommodate such a wide engine, the Valence's engine bay ended up being wider than before, resulting in a wider front tire offset than before. Because of the torque present in the new engine, the JZ 3.3 was only limited to a 4-Speed Automatic. The custom dual exhaust setup coupled with the Flat-6 made for a considerably vicious sound.

Thanks to the AWD system present in the Valence, compared to the Axia CT360 and the MSE 500-JTS, it accelerated to 100 KM/H the fastest.

Had a little bit of fun playing around with a G37 model I picked up from Black Market Imports. The seat and steering wheel are from there as well.

Bonus points to whoever can name the driver :sly:

Of all of my builds from the past year, this one is my best and most detailed build so far! Ladies and gents, please welcome the first project of 2016...

This is actually something from a while ago.

I really haven't bothered with S-Tuner over the last few months mostly because it's too hot in my room pretty much 24/7 for my PC to handle.

I've also been dabbling in the fact of converting some cars to 2 door versions, this is probably my most successful 2 door I've done so far.

That last one I see as being called "Ice box". Cool builds though. :sly:

Here is a spoiler for my next build.

NO LOSER anyone?

This build started out simple, now this is one of my biggest builds as of yet I'd say. I've spent over 6 hours on all of this. It's my personal take on a team from the TXR games - NO LOSER - A team made up of Lancer evolution drivers with army styled camo liverys. They are also the first 'boss team' of the Osaka area. My car would be a rally-oriented highway beast. (´ω`)

Three rebuilds, each getting more and more detailed. After much hard work, here is the third and final version of my personal car.

For this build, I've went way past my usual amount of detail, pouring as much as I could, as well as considering the limitation of S-Tuner, such as how much textures I could apply before it would crash.

I've worked as much as I could on this build despite my busy time schedule, being as flexible as I can in putting some work in it. Funny enough, most of the engine was built in school while waiting for my class.

Anyway, I'd like to thank Kaza for the parts, Joey Delgado-Messer from FB for giving me the kick that I needed through his amazingly detailed RB26DETT

Since the last rebuilt, I got rid of a lot and started most of the parts from scratch, including the textures. (I had over 100 reference pics, plus the car was parked in the garage if I needed anything)

Hope you enjoyed checking out the build as much as I had making it! :D

Hey guys I'm new to this thread and I've been using S-Tuner for a while but I'm curious as to how everyone is getting so detailed with their builds. I know a lot of time goes into them but I was wondering if there are any secrets I should know about. I can generally put the body work together well enough and stick an engine in it, but all the chassis and interior stuff is where I can no longer keep up. Are there certain steps I should take to ensure I have an easy to work with build and make these awesome creations? Thanks guys!

And sorry for the format, mobile is not so friendly.
