Hi guys is there any difference what so ever between the different types of X1's in terms of performance.

The S.vettel redbull x1 has the most PP
Then the Prototype
Then the ones you can buy.
Or something like that.
I havent driven the prototype and s.vettel.So im not sure if there are any noticible differences in performance

Neocodex
no such thing.

the redbull is the fastest, then the prototype, then the colored ones.

So there are only 3 versions which you get from the redbull challenges correct

Red Bull X1 Prototype (Carbon Fiber) - This is mere fastest, due to its material being carbon fiber. All other specs are the same as the Plain-Color X1.

Plain-Color X1 - Possibly has "restrictions" removed from the S. Vettel, like G-force maximum. Gear ratios are shorter and gearbox is quicker than the S. Vettel, contributing to acceleration.

Red Bull S. Vettel X1 - Maybe has "restrictions", like G-force maximum. Gear ratios are longer and gearbox is a bit slower compared to the Plain-Color.

Hahahaha that's funny because they're all made of carbon fiber.

Oh, really? Then I don't know why the Prototype is faster then..

The prototype you can adjust the gear ratios, the S.Vettel one you can only change the final drive ratio. Neither one is quicker as I can drive my Prototype just as quick as my Mate in his S.Vettel and Vice Versa. Only difference is the look and the gearbox.

the Prototype can adjust down force and gear ratio
after i adjust down force, my X1 is 999PP

sorry for my bad english

I get the fastest out of my Vettel rather my proto. I get 300+ mph in my vettel and about 285-295 mph on my proto.

Proto is fastest due to carbon fibers.
Normal one is second fastest, restrictions from Vettel removed.
Vettel is slowest due to gearing restricitons.

Prototype and colored are exactly the same.

Although Vettel has "fixed" gearing, it probably has the best gear ratios for circuit racing. You can't get a superlong first gear in the colored/carbon X1's.

It's a severe limitation in GT5's adjustable transmission.

They're all carbon fiber. How do you think they'd all weigh 545 kg?! It depends mostly on your aerodynamics setup more than your gearing. Set your front to 63 and back to any between 150-200 to get up to 295 MPH turning is slightly harder, but still very good.

They may be all Carbon Fiber, but the colored ones have paint, maybe that would make the Prototype ever so slightly faster?

I wouldn't really know as I only have the S.Vettel and never use it.

A bit of paint wouldn't even be worth a thousandth of a second

The gearing on the S.Vettel keeps the car in the power band more which equals a faster car. The prototype and normal X1's allow you to adjust the gear box but is mire difficult with it's longer gear ratios.

All X1's have the same power, weight and downforce. Only the S.Vettel gears are different.

Guys, it's the weight of the paint. ;)
J/K, I didn't even know there was a proto, one of these days I'm hammering after the challenge, sooner or later...

I have 1000pp on my colored X1 proto has most power and its fastest.

As many have said before the three X2010 are mechanically identical except for the gear ratios.

The cars on the photo are all 0km except for the S.Vettel one which has done a couple B-spec races.

I own all three. I feel the X2010 S.Vettel is the fastest, I got it up to 312mph. My Naked Carbon can only do 309mph. Also note the S.Vettel sounds better too. ;)

Also a good thing to note is the S.Vettel Is slightly shorter and has wider tyres. It also has a twin turbo V8 instead of the V6 [/sarcasm]

There is abslolutly no difference aside the gear ratios. Those of you saying you cant go as fast in your proto as you can in your S.Vettel, Fiddle with the gear ratios. Performance/handling/potential wise, there is no difference.

Hahahaha that's funny because they're all made of carbon fiber.

So since you're such a racing expert and should clearly replace Adrian Newey due to your insane knowledge of racing vehicles, why did Mercedes Benz and Auto Union remove the paint off of their cars, nicknaming them the "Silver Arrows"?

And that has what to do with the question at hand?

All the x2010 are made out of carbon fibre.

Depends on how broken in it is. My normal X1 has 1556hp.

Apparently you don't know why the paint was removed and why that makes a difference either...

Allegedly to save weight. Your implication is that it was done for aerodynamic reasons?
