I cant even imagine how someone couldn't like this game. If they liked GTA:VC then there should be no reason they dont like GTA:SA unless they are racist. Mabey they didnt play the game very long. In my opinion the first 5 or 6 levels are very easy. I only spent a couple hours playing the missions. The rest of the time I was messing around and exploring the city. Also doing other things but those are spoilers too.Awesome. Glad to see someone actually ecstatic about the game. Byt oh well, as they say: everyone's a critic. In spite of the fact that there has been someone who has disliked the game, and people that are finding things difficult, I'm not discouraged by it, as I have always had tolerance for GTA. I just know I will love it. It sounds a bit naive, but it's hard to describe. I just will. It's inevitable.
1. GTA:SA used 399kb of space so far.donbenni2 questions, if you don't mind:
How much space is the game save on the memory card?
Are there ragdoll physics a la Hitman? i.e. can you run people over and their bodies act all bendy and natural, same with the shotgun (blasting people into objects and they bend with the 'jects)?
I stole the train and did not let go of X for about a few minutes and the train just built up speed and I took a left corner and the cars behind the headcar fell off and then my car derailed and flipped on its side. It was kick arse!
You have full 360 degree control of the camera view just by using the left or right analog stick. I think that is excellent!!! Set the camera view anywhere you want. You can also look around corners with it. 👍The default driving view is too low. When going down a hill, it's sometimes nearly impossible to see what is in front of you. But, I guess I have to try the other angles first
Omnisdude....your ps2 doesnt have a problem....you could've bought a lens cleaner and saved a whole lot of money.
87chevyThis game is (so far) everything it was hyped up to be.
ArwinQuick solution to 90% of PS2's technical problems:
1. Unscrew the top (remove square protectors on the bottom and remove screws, about 8 or 10 of them)
2. Remove the top plate from the DVD player (four very small screws)
3. Clean and regrease the rails on which the laser lens platform moves
4. Screw the top of the DVD player back on
5. Put the cover back on, the screws back in and the little black square plates back on (be careful that the wires from the eject and power buttons to the mainboard don't get stuck between the casing while doing so - if you get problems with an automatically opening tray, this is the cause)
BlakeI don't think this has been confirmed or not but are there skateboards in the game?
animateriaSheeesh... I've been looking for a available copy for 2 days... All the ones in game stores seem to be preordered and they didn't get their next shipment...
Argggg!!!Why didn't they get more in yet!! Arggg!!! It is quite annoying to see copies of the game laying around the store while I can't buy em cause they are reserved!!!
I thought other places have left over copies... And I wandered the night looking for em... With no luck... Anyways... I guess I'm waiting for the next shipment....
Not a big problem for me yet...If I get it by next week...
Spuds725I haven't listened to the radio too much yet I still haven't heard Lazlo yet--did they bring to SA???
First of all, San Andreas doesn't have Ragdoll Physics, it uses Impact Animation. Secondly, Vice City used neither, so it should be a small difference at the least.CAMAROBOY692. Yes there are ragdoll physics. Similar to GTA:VC but a little better.
Oh god yes. Excellent.dori-sanI don't know if anyone else has noticed/done this yet, but one great thing that is pretty realistic IMO and splits my sides every time I do it is when you get up on the interstate and get cruisin pretty fast and then just stomp the brakes until you come to a stop, pretty soon traffic will slam into you and you can cause a pretty big pile up! HAHAHA!!! It's so awesome!
Vice City used impact animation in the sense that bodies would curl over the car sometimes, though it was very poorly done and I would barely class it as impact animation.Jimmy EnslashayFirst of all, San Andreas doesn't have Ragdoll Physics, it uses Impact Animation.
