Just got it on the 28th in Australia, 1 day early 👍

Now I will have to post in the spoilers thread. (after I play for awhile)

Yeah im in New Zealand and its the 28th and im pickin mine up in an hour, my mates had his since midday bugger!
 
Well,i'll be going to the store in about 3 hours so i hope they have the game.I pre-ordered it but i haven't heard anything yet.The guy did say that they would be selling it a day earlier to the people who pre-ordered it so i hope i can get it today.
Fingers crossed.

but so far SA has been pretty cool but it is a bit different then III or VC-- first of all, unless I'm an idiot, you can't use your D-pad to steer CJ on the ground or in vehicles-- you have to use the left analog stick-- taking some getting used to.

Did you actually use the D-pad for controlling your car or for walking around in Vice City? I always used the analog stick. The only thing I used the D-pad for was for wheelies and stoppies.

Yes-- guess you won't have any problems with the transition.
 
I only use the analog sticks now, mainly after gt3, because that just handled so much better with the analog sticks. I cant imagine useing the d-pad to play vice city and things, just not, well, accurate enough?things like walking and that, just too much work to take advantage of the sensitivity of the d-pad.
on the subject of controls, it strikes me that some real contortions might be necessary, say your driving along, thats X. steering, left stick, move camera for a driveby or something,right stick, shoot, O, and maybe change target too. i cant wait.

GT3 got me using the left stick aswell, I also cant imaging going bad to D pad on GTA.
 
I feel that the analog sticks are somewhat more responsive than the D-Pad. That's why I rarely use the D-Pad for playing games...
 
I like what they did with the D pad.

I hate the 3d stick. D pad all the way. A little annoyed they chose not to allow the useof it in SA.
 
I suspect that they need the d-pad for something else...

I love how Rockstar portrayed California so well. From urban streets, to downtown freeways, from desert roads, to mountain ranges. They even got the smog color right.

That's awesome. I always wanted to hear then swearing :D
 
I hope you guys in Europe and Austrailia can understand some of the references-- the street talk is coarse (besides just the foul language)-- Fortunately I grew up near L.A. :) -- I don't think you guys will have too much difficulty understandin, but if you haven't been exposed to very many (street) movies or TV shows you might have some problems.

I'm finally hung up on a mission-- I keep getting killed-- I need to find some body armor now :banghead:-- I've done it 5 or 6 times-- I did find a sniper rifle but need to remember where its at--would come in handy on this mission.

I remember where its at just not what area its in--if I looked at my map (paper) map I'm sure I could find it.

If anyone "really" wants to know where a sniper rifle is hidden-- PM me.

Yeah, Its sounds like the hood in my appartment...My Mother in Law phoned my wife last night, and I was playing in suround sound ( LOUD ) all she could here was B1tch, Mother F#cker, ****, she thought I was going nuts, and she needs to call the cops to save her daughter !

I worried about the MA15+ when I first sawit, I thought they may have sensored it but lucky for us Aussies they havent.
 
That's great , if you aussie's doesn't have censored , then we in EU won't have it either :) 👍

Hmm..the UK version is rated 18. That either means our BBFC are more purient than the Aus and NZ equivalent or cuts and censorship have been made. I'm thinking it's the first answer..
Is there plenty of blood in the Aus GTA SA?
 
Yep plenty of blood, and the whole lot.

BTW I dont think Aus has a 18+ rating on games, the highest is MA15+.
 
is there any limb removal?
