SA First impressions (no spoilers)

Don't worry about it. I'm heading over to EB, and I know a few guys there that would know exactly where to point me around my area. Thanks for the help anyway, appreciate it.
 
Ive been playing for a while now and I am several missions into the game and all I can say now is that this might be one of the best games I have ever played. GTA:SA is like playing multiple games all in 1 game with soooo many options and different things to keep you busy. I will have to give GTA:SA a 9.8 out of 10. 👍 👍 When you get further in the game you will see why I gave it such a high rating!! 👍

I've found and completed 2 so far. It was two jumps beside each other and it was obvious that they were jumps. But I haven't really been looking.

10 so far. I noticed there was no bonus at 10. :(

I wonder that the oysters are that you have to find...

The game is great. Graphics great, cars great. My only problem is it is harder to grab a bike. You can't just stop infront of them:(

I'm pretty sure I found the same two as you. And now 4 others (6 total)-- I also got the one to register I couldn't find before-- the unique jumps found must list them after you save or something-- they were different before when I looked but when I checked today and they were what they were supposed to be. I did start writing them down-- I urge everyone to do the same.

I spent about an hour trying to get into the airport today, am coming very close but not quite getting over the fence.

I'm completing each set of missions as they are opened up (in the order they are opened up)-- 22 done so far.

Good idea. I found one today that I couldn't do with the car I was in. I think I should go back with a PCJ and do it.

I don't think Rockstar will do it how they did the Hidden Packages in GTA 3 and Vice City. First of all, there are no icons floating around anymore (apart from the rare Police Bribe), so they aren't compelled to do it. Secondly, I never liked the guns floating around near your place. But then again, this is my want for realism speaking out.

I haven't even searched for Unique Jumps. I've been doing so many other things, and there's so many more things I want to do, that I just don't worry about Oysters, Horseshoes, Jumps, etc. Those things I keep for when I'm going for 100%. Right now, I just want to experience the Missions and the new features.
 
I don't go looking for them, but if I hit one while doing something else-- I try to get it to register--- oops...I didn't find the same two as you KM-- the 2 I'm refering to are very obvious ones...I assumed you found the same ones.

Got me my copy on Thursday last week!! I got the guide too so that I can find all those tags and pics, horseshoes whatever....

I got all those tags which I started to get after the mission that triggers it... Its the first thing I do in all GTAs Looking for those damn packages on the others first... Good way to get used to the city and all... But it damn well took me at least 5hrs to find them all... Especially with number 30... Stupid guide actually put 29 twice!! Sheesh... Anyways standard package fare... Got me some weapons (I won't tell what) And that was it... Anyways... I got all the pearls in LS but apparrently I need all to unlock whatever it does...

This game is what a GTA game should have always been!! It has almost all the elements it needs! A ton of minigames including the one at home, customization for the character and the cars(Though the stupid game still has that annoying car 'theft' thing where the car simply disappears for no damn reason!! I lost my custom lowrider and a custom banshee and I put a couple g into those suckers!!)

I love the bikes too!! I almost maxed out the cycling skills and boy does CJ jump high!!
 
When you done all the Tags, did anything get unlocked? Or did you receive rewards?

Ive done about 22 now i think, ill have to check. But like you ive not been going out of my way to find jumps or hidden things but if i see them i go for it, if i can.
 
Didn't read it all, just sort of quickly browsed through that link, Spuds. I don't think I will get any of them, unless I'm going for 100%. I never got Hidden Packages unless going for 100% in GTA 3 and Vice City either.

I don't like stuff laying around everywhere. Plus, I rather buy things (or get them from Emmet).

I also didnt get all the hidden packages in GTA:VC.
In GTA:SA I currently sprayed over about 20 of them just because I thought mabey it would improve my respect. I also cant resist when I see them. :lol:
 
I got about 90-odd in VC...

The Tags are slightly more interesting cos cops don't like you doing it... so it feels like a crime... therefore it feels good!!

I always stick a marker down if I see one and I've not got me spray can... If I'm on a mission I hop out and tag it up...

I've even been known to do some tagging whilst in the middle of a gang war!!!!

Do you get a Wanted Level? Or are you talking about in real-life?
 
If the cops see you tagging they will come after you.

I have finished the Main story!!

Its a damn long, fun and sometimes frustration story.

Anyways... to answer the question... yeah Cops don't like you for spraying tags in GTA:SA (And in real life or so I've heard!)

I found out on my first mission... I sprayed a tag infront of the Ballas guys next to a cop... so I had a few rounds of fisticuffs with all three... Managed to spray the rest of the tag... then legged it!!

When spraying a ballas tag, a group of 5 ballas rushed my, I just turned around, sprayed them in the face and hopped the wall......good times
 
Classic tactic... Attempt to nick a cop car... cop gets out... spray him in the face... drive off in car!!!

Time played = 46hours
% completed = 66%

I did do some side missions as well like pimping, I/E and acouple more.

I am going for 100% I suppose, but Im not in a rush.
 
Yeah...I don't know why I'm rushing through the game-- its gonna be at least a year til GTA:Next comes out.....

Are you using any guides for 100% or are you going to try it on your own for a bit??

Hmmm...game out for 8 days now--- 8 hours per day average-- I played about 8 hours yesterday but that is by far the most in one day for me.

Uhh, I wasn't talking about a Wanted Level in real life. I was wondering whether you were talking abuot the Cops not liking you spraying in rea life. And GTA is kinda close to real-life, so I think it's okay.
