I forgot about that. People can give that game crap all they want... but that part gave me chills. Very intense. Very emotional.

Same here, although it was a bit cheesy when the Apaches arrived, the game had a more personal feel to it than Call of Battlefield 56, I was also halfway through Band of Brothers at the time, so it actually made me feel something, again, unlike Battleduty 9.6.

The part where you have to leave those two Tier 1 operators on the mountain was also genuinely moving (not in a sad way, but I felt something), and the part where you meet up with them again, that was amazing, almost as good as seeing Snake from Raiden's eyes in MGS2.

Other sad moments in games: Sniper Wolf in MGS1, E.E. in MGS2, most of MGS4 (particularly Naomi's bit), and for some reason I found the extended ending of GT5 quite emotional, too. I still don't know why, I'm guessing its the music.

What video games make you sad? It could be for any reason, the story, the soundtrack, the beauty I guess, disappointment, I don't know, anything.

I have one. Shift 2 Unleashed. I know it's strange but it makes me sad for a few reasons. I've been changing my opinion on it nearly every week. It makes me sad because of the way I got it. No nothing illegal, it's just something I don't like and would not like to share. Anyways, it also makes me sad because I want to like it so bad, and I like it, but not very much.

Let's not argue here please. Let's not make fun of others because games have special meanings to certain people.

When I read Shift 2, I thought you were going to say because of the music. It isn't what you could call joyful :)

Mass Effect 2. 2-3 of my characters died at the end. I'm going to get back to this game eventually and have them all survive.👍

Uh no spoilers in that statement is there lol.

The game has been out for about 6 years now...after a certain amount of time spoilers no longer apply IMO.

I'll put my vote in for Final Fantasy VII,

The original Max Payne was a sad game too.

Red Dead Redemption and Final Fantasy VIII also. 7 and 8 brought out the most emotion for me, but all FF games get kinda emotional.

Not making fun, but I find it funny that so many people have racing games included as emotional games...I'd say racing and sports games are some of the few that don't bring out any emotion for me. Oh well, to each his own.
