Wow, that is pretty cool. 👍 And with that girl standing next to it, it looks like a 60". :D If they are releasing it in Japan(first), I wonder if it's because the MSRP is supposed to be ridiculously high.
 
I'm not surprised. Laptop screens are thin like that, after all. As for the power supply, it probably uses an external brick. The real question is how well it does black levels and colors.

According to the link, it covers 92% of the NTSC color range and consumes less than 90 watts of power.

Imagine how much shipping is! I bet it's über fragile.

Well i think its not for export really, how fragile can this thing get? But it really looks cool. Saves space and ideal for hanging on the wall. Now if only they can do that hologram TV like in Minority Report....
