Sarthe Circuit 24 Hr I Race - What car?

Am having problems winning the above race. Have tried many cars with various set up but can find no car to win this race. Can anybody assist?

Use the Pescarolo '04. if you want to win easily, slap a level 4 turbo on it as well. And also, there are numerous threads about this topic, i can't be bothered looking for any but take my word that there is.

Sauber C9...didn't do anything other then get Super Hard Racing tyres and won it by about 2 laps.

You might also find this useful, it tells you when most of the cars that you may end up racing against will pit, and should allow you to figure out if you can outlast them or not.

Also if you happen to race against one of the cars that doesn't have an entry yet, please take note of when it stops and post a reply in the thread too, and I'll edit you into the credits section.

Also are you planning to A-spec:tup: or B-spec:tdown: the race? It makes a big difference to car selection.

If you wanna get A cheap win, b-spec it with an F1.

Or if you wanna actually race, you can use any LMP(or whatever they're called).....i.e. the Audi R8, Mercedes Sauber C9, Nissan R390, etc.

Cos b-spec takes less time -- if you're just doing it for cash.

Oh. Well I have yet to do THAT 24 hour endurance race but maybe I won't use my F1 when I do. Maybe I will though and after I beat the game or everything but missions 11-34 I'll go back and try some races with less awesome cars and make the races harder. For the time being I'm just trying to beat the game as quick as possible without B-spec'ing anything(except for quick cash to buy something).

Yeah, but regardless of how quick an F1 is, a 24hr race still takes 24hrs! It won't go by any quicker because you're driving an F1!

Yeah I realized that as I was typing but I meant in general; like with the FormulaGT championship and other races. Timed races are obviously going to take the same amount of time regardless of vehicle but that's not to say one vehicle over another will help you win easier and not have to repeat it and therefore save time.
